And I don't mean good money in the sense of merely financially stable. I mean having plenty of money for a decent vacation at least several hundreds of miles from home once or twice a year. While I know it doesn't help me to keep thinking about it and my efforts to keep away from it are slipping, consider how I arrived at thinking about this:>Fell for a girl in college, nothing special there>Fell out>Felt sad on graduation day since I never got any closure>A few days after that she ended up in a relationship with one of my classmates>Later found them vacationing together a few days later while I stalked her Instagram accountI think if they ended up having their vacation in Japan or some other foreign country God knows what society-draining ambition I could have cultivated and worked toward, and I already think this experience has made me set too high of a bar for what makes a passable relationship. Two people acting no different from friends but who are also willing to fuck each other if they're in the mood to do so isn't enough and insert discourse on the "bare minimum" here.
>>34875254idk what to tell youyou can find a way to put some money aside for a crazy nice vacation even without being a top earnerdont tie your self worth to it if thats what you mean
Jesus, man, are you really going to let one woman who wasn't interested in you fuck up your life this much? There is much more in life than some girl. FFS, quit making your past ruin your future. Move on. It's not hard. A diet of the mind where you look ahead and not back.
>>34875254yeah if it will help you marry a woman you're actually attracted to. just have a low bar (5-20k in reserve) instead of something ridiculous. slumming it on a vacation seems to be a precious memory of young people in love
>>34875254Why would you need that level of money in order to have a girlfriend?
