When it comes to having female friends, how much of a stressor would that be in a relationship? Reason I ask is because I am single currently but would like to date women as the opportunity presents itself. I do however have female friends whom I am not dating and don't really have a desire to date them. A friend joked that with one of my female friends, when he saw me texting her, he saw that we both heart emoji both of each others text messages frequently. He said if his girlfriend ever found out he was heart emoji'ng any womans texts, she would cut one of his fingers off per heart and then fucking hang him. He is apparently dating a very jealous woman. Anyway, what is the true dynamic and how would I navigate being in a relationship AND having friends who are women when I am a guy? I do think fondly of my friends and I enjoy being around them. But I don't consider myself a micro cheater or something. I just happen to have friends that are women.
