it's about to happen. Maybe tomorrow, maybe by the end of the week. I'm really not sure, but I feel it coming.Right now we are on the 'trying to fix it' phase, but honestly it feels more like her trying to gain the upper hand so she could be the one breaking up with me on her terms. Tbh it should have happened a long time ago, but we had so much in common in terms of interests, hobbies, etc. that it felt like worth powering through. I'm 27. Introverted. I don't really know how to meet new people. I don't really know how to find my own happiness anymore.I'm out of college already, so I don't know where I'll meet new people. How do I go on? Any oldfags that have gone through the same thing?Sorry for rambling slightly incoherently. I'm drunk and heartbroken.
>>34876064Just break up with her yourself. You deserved better and she was self sabotaging the relationship. Block her. Cry, be angry, dont contact her.
>>34876064imo don't play the dating game. people attach their ego to their online presence and subsequently let it crush them.joining church, social groups, support groups, clubs, going to events is much more enjoyable than another sequel of scroll alone.this is the limit of finding a third place in 2026, and it's not like you are limited to joining sportsball or gym. there's an infinite amount of interests where you can join groups in major cities.we are social creatures, so treat it like standing in the dark in amnesia. you'll only lose your sanity that way.
what happened? deal breaker?
>>34876064I'm going to tell you the ultimate secret to talking to strangers as an introvert. It's volunteer work. I know everyone on here sees the word "work" and immediately cringes but just give it a shot. Volunteering gives you a reason to talk to people, it gives your something to do with your hands while your brain goes dark, and the large majority of people who you'll meet volunteering are good people who like helping others, hence why they volunteer.I have volunteered at music festivals, anime conventions, a community events. Most of them give your free passes or volunteer only parties but my favorite was working with habitat for humanity because they taught me to use a nail gun and other handyman shit when I don't have anyone else to learn that shit from. If you don't meet a single cool person, you get to practice being a dork in public then leave and never see those people again.
