Currently attending a good university in my country, but I'm having a really hard time asking questions during class. Being introverted, I usually just wait until the end of the lecture to ask the professor directly once everyone leaves. I talk myself out of asking questions in front of the class because I feel like they might be stupid, especially since no one else really asks anything either. I really want to overcome this, but my anxiety gets in the way: whenever the professor asks something and I know the answer, or whenever I actually try to speak up, my heart starts racing.

box breathing is the best natural method in your situation to get out of a fight or flight response
the best response to anxiety (unknown fear) is looking the people in the eyes you are speaking to, because that is your best read on what people are really thinking.
i guarantee you most people don't even care. they just want to pass the class and go home. they don't care about you or whatever is going in your head. if they do, they'll actually look at you, and then you look at them back.
