If the worst thing I have to endure is feeling sorry for myself, then what’s stopping me from living a life of mediocrity and mailing it in? I’ve gotten used to people looking at me like a worthless sewer rat, especially experienced tradesman or other men who “put in the WURK.” I just like sitting on my ass and doing nothing for money (overnight security). It’s too comfortable. I feel like some kind of aristocrat sitting on my throne
Nothing. But would you be getting sorry for yourself because other people are judging you, or because it's not the life you want to lead? And what about that lifestyle is something you're not okay leading? Think about what you're giving up and what you're gaining, and decide whether it's worth it to you.
