I was hanging out with my cousin and his friends and man, I'm so fucking ugly. I literally look like Gollum, while the rest of them were attractive. I don't hate them, I just wish things had been different for meI can't be like them so following their path won't work but I still feel lost
>>34878037how much effort have you put into your appearance?
>>34878050I work out, trim my beard, shower etc I was always somewhat unattractive but I had really nice hair to make up for it as it hid some of my features, now it's gone and my ugliness is on full display
>>34878060give us a picture.we need more info
>>34878080I'm not going to post a picture of myself kek the last thing I need is to become a meme, but I'm around the same level of attractiveness of your picrel
>>34878037>too ugly to fit inWhat do you mean by fit in? I’m a 4chan goober because I had a fucked up early life but I was lucky to grow up to be pretty solidly above average looks wise.I see when guys are ugly. I know what that means when it comes to how women treat them. I’m not going to just bring that up and pick at the scab, obviously, so the most I can offer is genuine friendship where your looks don’t matter at all. The only thing that’s ever off putting is high levels of internal seethe but that doesn’t seem to be you.
>>34878445I'm sorry you had a messed up childhood, I also had one and it makes relating to others incredibly hard. What I mean by fitting in is that I always feel like the odd one out, I'm unattractive and also awkward as a result of my upbringing, I think my cousin does see me as an equal but his friends just tolerate me I feel, which is fine but it made me realize I will never be normal no matter how much I try. I did travel a lot and I have a fair share of life experience but it doesn't matter because I'm always seen as "lame" or a "weirdo" which sucks because all I have ever wanted was to belong Maybe I need to accept that I will never be normal and find my own path but I still feel a bit sad about it
>>34878576>I'm sorry you had a messed up childhoodIt’s all good at this point. My life is pretty cool now, all things considered. It just explains why I made it to 4chan and stuck around. In any case, I at least know the feeling of being the odd one out. Totally different situation but I went to a country club with a rich friend in high school. I got all weird and sketchy feeling like I didn’t fit in and they leaned in to say>dude the only thing that makes you not fit in is feeling all weird like you don’t fit inAnd that worked instantly for me. To be fair it was a really casual club so it’s not like I learned how to fit in with the upper crust in 2 seconds. It’s just that I felt nervous is that environment and a change of perspective fixed it.The other, very objective thing to do is to try to always look really clean. I don’t know if anybody ever says it to ugly people’s face but there’s this idea that they’re smelly just because they’re ugly. I have not necessarily noticed that to be the case but it’s a common thing for people to think. So even a “cleaner” haircut, shave, style of dress, anything like that might help you out too. Even if you’re still ultimately not good looking.
>>34878755To expand on that just a bitYou could also level with them if they’re actually bros. I’ve don’t such things before. You just say>bros I’m ugly and I don’t feel like I fit in. What should I wear? Should I get a new haircut? You’ll get a chorus of “oh you’re not actually ugly dude” because nobody wants to be the cocksucker who bashes you with if so don’t start and argument about “no I AM ugly!l”. instead just be all>fine, fine but this is a problem for me and I think I need to switch things up.Should serve two purposes. One is that they know you feel like that and can make better sure you know you’re all good. The second is that they might not teach you how to dress in a way that attracts women but you’ll at least be able to “harmonize” with their style a bit more and that’ll make you feel like you fit in more too.
>>34878755>>34878781Thank you for your help and advice Anon, I really appreciate it. Maybe some of it is all in my head, to an extent. Did you manage to overcome the damage done your childhood did to you socially? I don't think I was this ugly from the get go but after years of trauma I became more reclusive and my looks started to worsen to the point where I started losing my hairOf course I also don't smell the best so what you said is completely true and something I have to keep my eye on just in case, I try to shower regularly but sometimes I can get too depressed because I go in this rabbithole of despair fewling that anything I do is ultimately pointless which is not necessarily true but sometimes we are our own worst enemy
