I demand that you tell me how do I afford a brand new latest generation (at the time of purchase) iPhone as a Russian who earns 500-600 USD per month after taxes, most of which goes to rent and food. Regarding storage, 256 GB is enough. Regarding the tier, honestly I think buying such an expensive phone without a telephoto camera is a fucking meme, so I'd of course massively prefer Pro or Pro Max, but given that I'm a poorfag, I'll settle for base iPhone, but not the e model.
As far as I can tell, telco phone upgrade deals don't exist in Russia. 0% APR loans are sometimes offered by stores, but it seems that the stores that sell iPhone for the cheapest price, while still being a reliable store, don't offer such options.

Shut your fucking mouth. You're poor, you shouldn't even have a xiaomi, let alone an iphone.

lmao fuck off. Why do you think you deserve a nice phone? Go get drone striked in Ukraine retard.

>>34897829
Why can't you just buy a cheap Android phone Ivan?
>>
>>34897829
What possible reason could there be for having a brand new/latest generation iphone?

I make about $350 per day after tax. Yet I'm happy with my iphone 10. I have never owned a new car, and I don't think I've ever bought a new phone, either. Only used or refurbished.

Explain it to me. Why do you even have the desire to own such a gadget? What does it even do?
>>
>>34897829
how do you afford anything?
either earn enough money or save enough over a longer period of time
>>
>>34898670
This is the first real answer it seems. Do you have any tips
>>
>>34899740
Go a month without eating your typical buckwheat mash. Starve for a month, buy the phone afterwards.
>>
>>34899801
That's not even enough to buy even the cheapest iPhone? The salary is 500-600 USD per month, the cheapest brand new latest generation iPhone in the US and without the sales tax costs 599 USD, and it's not like food takes up entirety of the salary.

I hear the special military operation pays well.

You could always buy a referb, or see what deals your carrier offers.

That being said I highly recommend not wasting your money like that. You can get a pretty solid android phone for a quarter of the price.
>>
>>34900251
>what deals your carrier offers
I said in the OP we don't have carrier deals, nobody even buys phones from carriers in Russia. Although, I found some shops that work in banks to provide interest-free loans for 24 months to buy the phone from their shop, but the phones in those shops are always more expensive than in places that don't have this feature.

Why is an iphone so important to you, and why the latest model specifically? My wife refuses to use any other phone, but she's also had the same base 15 since it came out and genuinely has no desire to "upgrade" to a newer model.
>>
>>34900283
It's not about an iPhone specifically. Why bother living if I'm going to be forced to buy the cheapest possible option regarding anything my whole life? If I can't afford an iPhone, it means I can't afford a good laptop, a good PC or anything else for that matter. Why I want to buy specifically an iPhone? I want to buy and own nice things. Until now I've always been using Chinese phones costing strictly below $200. You people always approach this problem from the point of saving up money, and for what, I don't have anything else to spend money on. I don't see anything wrong with wanting to spend money on buying something nice instead of buying the cheapest garbage you can find

So I don't understand what the hell do you want. Do you think if I buy a $200 Chinese phone again, then somehow I'll be able to buy a good laptop or PC soon? I don't need money for anything else.

everyone in my work circle has iphones and they are always complaining about something going wrong... saying they need to go to an apple store. it's volunteering for an abusive relationship.
im pretty sure you want it because you covet it, not because it will improve your life.
i know modern russian "culture" is cargo cultish.
reject it. be free.
real wypipo dont care about flexing on people. that is a very brown thing to preoccupy your mind with.
having an iphone wouldnt change your life for the better.
you would be constantly anxious about breaking and losing it because youre a brokie.
you will break it, and it will become unusable in 1 year due to software updates, and you will have nothing to show for the money you spent.
galaxy is objectively a better phone in every measurable way except for camera quality and design aesthetics.
>>
>>34900283
>why the latest model specifically
It is because iPhones (or the vast majority of consumer tech for that matter) are not sold in Russia officially and are usually sold by third parties through parallel import, and to be honest it's all really sketchy and I don't really trust that any given "new" iPhone from multiple generations back is not secretly a third-party low-quality refurbish coming from some Chinese basement or something. I wouldn't mind if it was a good third-party refurbished iPhone, but I can't really tell anything.
Second, I want updates to last for a long time because if I look at supposedly-new iPhone prices for the latest gen and previous gens, the price difference is really not that large, the price decreases very slowly for Apple products it seems. It's an expensive purchase either way, so I want it to last for a long time.
>>
>>34900318
Nah man I get wanting nice things, just wanted to understand your motivation.

I will say wholeheartedly that the new iPhones have been the same shit in a new colour for years and you could save a substantial amount buying an older model while getting the same benefits. I have the means to outfit myself and my wife with iPhone 17 pros before lunch today but she doesn't want to switch from her 15 and I still happily rock a Samsung s24.

People suggest saving your money to make the purchase so that you don't take a loan, miss a payment and get raped with interest charges. You could also put the money you'd blow on an iphone towards the better PC you want, or a nice set of clothes, a fancy dinner, etc.
>>
>>34900328
>dont care about flexing on people
I don't flex by owning expensive items in the first place
>having an iphone wouldnt change your life for the better
Owning something nice does change the life for the better. If not, then nothing would improve my life
>you will break it
Why would I break it? I haven't broken any phone
>it will become unusable in 1 year due to software updates
Hopefully not, given that it's a flagship phone
>galaxy is objectively a better phone
Why would I be able to afford a Galaxy S phone when I can't afford an iPhone?
>>
>>34900337
>you could save a substantial amount buying an older model while getting the same benefits
I looked up prices in a shop that has rather low prices while still having good reputation and the prices are:
iPhone 13 - 681.28 USD
iPhone 14 - 704.37 USD
iPhone 15 - 796.77 USD
iPhone 16 - 866.06 USD
iPhone 17 - 946.90 USD
I don't think the price differences are that large in the first place, and I cannot comfortably afford any of them. Plus the issues in >>34900330
>the better PC you want
I don't even need it because I don't play games
>or a nice set of clothes, a fancy dinner, etc.
I don't need that for sure
>>
>>34900339
oh i see. loser mentality.

I'm an American. I use a 7 year old iPhone 11 Pro with a shot battery. Why do you need a new iPhone? Has yours stopped making calls, taking texts or otherwise not functioning? I don't know how the market is in russia but here you can usually find a 2-3 generation old iPhone for a huge discount. I bought mine cash from Swappa and put a new case and screen protector on it. It's been a good device other than iOS 26 slowing it down (should have stayed on 17)

Well did you buy it when it was the latest generation?

The prices are in >>34900348, I wouldn't call it a huge discount over here.

Because he's a spiritual negroid. Those are extremely common in countries which are new to capitalism.

>>34899740
there are no tips and no secrets to getting enough money
you acquire it over long enough time by income and keep the end goal in mind

Refurbished items are used items that are sold by companies. This means they come with warranty. They also come with an invoice/receipt, which is not the case for things you buy on facebook marketplace.

The word "refurbished" is intended to mean "inspected, cleaned, repaired, and parts replaced", but almost nobody does that. It's just companies selling used items which may or may not have been repaired. At most they just have replaced batteries.
>>
>>34901035
Refurbished is slightly more expensive than used, but there's much less risk because you have warranty and a receipt. But you won't get scammed by a company the same way you'd get scammed by a nigger on ebay.

My /adv/ice is you get better taste instead of being a braindead slop consumer
