Working 40+ hours a week doesn’t feel sustainable to me. There are some things in life I enjoy like music and nature but I can’t enjoy them when my whole life is working or recovering from work so that I can work the following day. Like life just kinda sucks when it’s 90% slaving away and you have to do it or else you will starve and die. No idea how anyone has the energy to raise kids in addition to this. How do I cope because I don’t see a way out

Take it easy anon, a boring job is better than some wild bullshit desire to be recognized etc. Focus on things you love even in the little time you have, focus on the money you earn, the money should be enough.

hello anon
I can relate completely
the truth is working longer hours pays off in the long run
but that’s why the common phrase “do something you love because you’ll never work a day in your life” is very true
i used to work retail and hated every single day of my life
once i finally took a chance to try very different jobs, i found one that didn’t make me feel that bad

if you have the opportunity to try new jobs without much consequence, i suggest you try it!

You're taking too many supplements to deal with the work itself. I worked 45-60 hour shifts before and usually the more activity I have the easier it is for me to deal with activity more often. If I however take too many breaks focusing too much on how rough life is I get slower and slower and less willing. Added, washing dishes is a job I have been passionate about ever since I was 15, so there is that too.

168 Hours in a week.
-63 for sleep (Upper limit)
-40 for work
-7.5 for travel
57.5 hours.

57.5 hours is the time you get to yourself after work and sleep (9 hours a night), lets also do shopping, cleaning at 5-7 hours a week. 50 hours a week you have to do whatever. that's 10 more hours than you work. Seems to me you're just being a little bitch who struggles with time management.

>90% slaving away
23.81% is the actual amount of "slaving away" you do a week.
>my whole life is working
no its not.

You're looking for a easy way out when you're life isn't even that hard to begin with, try mining cobalt 14 hours a day in a pit in Africa.

I’m currently working more like 55-60 hours a week. So it is worse than the usual 40. When I get home I’m too tired from work to do anything more than eating and showering and going to bed, I usually have about two hours between when I get home and bedtime

Those people should also kill their corporate masters. We're trying to push back before our western overlords take us to that point.

To pay for food and shelter, and to have health benefits because I’m a burger. If I do not work full time my money would eventually run out and eventually I would become homeless and/or die

most people dont actual work, they chit chat with co workers. if you dont like gossiping then a job is hell. even worse is if you have issues falling asleep and staying asleep. you are basically dead

ouch im sorry to hear that
i can attest to the recovery aid of my high powered around 100 dollar beurer massage gun

You need a job that you can do half asleep or spend half the hours playing solitaire at. Basically, if you can cut your living expenses enough that a shitty job pays enough do it.

I don't know what kind of third world shithole you live in, but generally you can comfortably survive with 30 hours or less. Provided you're not a un uneducated minimum wage retard.

I've never seen that happen though. Finding a job thats not soul crushing does though.

HR isn't a real job. Try that. Perfect for lazy people.
