Was at a bar with my friends, and a the topic of standards for women came around.
When they asked me I said:
> 18 - 23 yo
> Catholic
> Virgin
> White
> Shorter than me (I'm 5'7")
> At least a 6/10
> Does not drink nor smoke nor is a party whore
> No Tatoos

My friends said that I'm completely delusional and I will die a wizard (I'm 23 rn). What do you guys think?

Idk about america, but even in brazil I've met a lot of girls who meet most of these criterias.
The hardest will be to find one who doesn't have any tatoos, or drink at all (though you can change the latter)

I mean, she can drink occasionally, but not get blackout drunk nor have a alcoholism problem.

Tatoos are deal breaker tho.

If you're active in Young Adult Catholic spaces, and are active in more traditional Catholic groups online, it shouldn't be too difficult

Saying this as a former Catholic chick who used to fit that criteria and dated a Carmelite tertiary for 3+ years. That's where a lot of women like the ones you're into congregate

Are pilgrimage tattoos a deal breaker, too? Lot of pilgrims to Jerusalem still get them, including Catholics

Being realistic, from the thousands of tattooed people I see daily, I've yet to see someone that has a razzouk, specially a woman.

So still no.

I guess the only part that would make you delusional would be if you met a woman who met all those boxes (and more, say she's a perfect match with similar hobbies, is supportive, cooks well, etc) and you dont give her a chance because she has tattoos.

God made woman to be man's helper, but it is the man's role to guide her towards a pious life.

I think everyone has a list of what they think the perfect partner would be but in reality people are flawed, but not irredeemably so.

Fair. Just was curious

Good luck! And, just as one more word of advice: Being active in your parish helps a LOT. My ex and I met at what was our parish; he was the sacristan. Being active gives you a lot more opportunities to meet people who are take your faith seriously as a general rule, and it really helps if there's also young adult groups that are also run as part of it. If there's no young adult groups in the parish itself, though, I'd definitely check out diocesan ones.

Thanks!
I've been avoiding being active in my parish due to it being too CRR like (I'm more of a silence + contemplation guy) but I guess you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet.
