Are you supposed to use a face towel/scrub brush/loofah in the shower or just lather your hands with soap and rub all over. This is a seeious question as I've been told using an object is only something blacks and poors do.

Use what's best for your skin.
I have keratosis pilaris and get a lot of ingrown hairs and bumps, so I have to use a brush or loofah to exfoliate. Just lathering with my hands can actually make things worse because I'm smearing soap directly onto my pores instead of scrubbing with the lather.

I use a scrubby thing to wash my body. Gets it much cleaner than just my hands would.
