My parents emotionally pressured me into accepting a university position and i caved. I don't care about educating people i just want to do my research in piece. I also have a job in a startup , and i don't think i can keep both without snapping. I don't know what to do. I'm a pushover when it comes to my parents and i don't know what to do. Any advice on how i can solve my issues?
Just phone it in, put in zero effort, if you get kicked out tell your parents you got removed so they could put a foreign kid in the job instead.
