I have a crush on a girl. I don't know her, she doesn't know me. She's a receptionist. She works very hard and is very cheerful. When I met her, I showed interest, but didn't interact ever after, since I'm autistic and don't know how to be fun, just to say fact. Of course she noticed I liked her and seems to actively avoid me. I know she's not the last girl i'll meet. I just wouldn't like her to be another NPC.Aside from asking her out and getting rejected, or ignoring her and letting useless feelings well up, what can I do to break the ice and get in her circle?Mind you, I'm an autist who can't small talk. I'm willing to do whatever's necessary, all I'm asking is for guidance.
>>34905810honestly... asking out and getting rejected might be the best course of action for you. since then you can start immediately throw her into NPC bin without worrying about it more instead of getting hopes up that might get crushed later. mention you're really bad with people (don't say autistic since that's too broad outside of internet). and if she straight up rejects you, you no longer have to worry. your perception whether she is actively avoiding you is unreliable since as you say, you're autistic (and male, anyway.). you're not going to gain anything by trying to befriend her because even if she does, you'd likely just get friendzoned and end up worse than immediately being rejected.
>>34905810Just ask her out and stop being gay. Even if she says yes youre going to have to small talk on the date. Its not rocket science to ask questions to promote convo. People love to talk about themselves. What they dont want to hear is someone making a ton of excuses about their long dysgenic line of disabilities.
>>34906183>>34906250The question was how do I break the ice with her. There's no point (other than building tolerance) to asking someone out, if you can't hold a conversation with them. I can't give a fuck about being friendzoned, I have no friends as I stand, and I know a woman busy fucking other guy won't give me love. But I need to not be alone in my life, not necessarily fucking, I need to know how to be chill with girls. I will ask her out. But I gain nothing from just being told No or being a bore at a date. I need to gain something out of this.
>>34905810>Of course she noticed I liked her and seems to actively avoid me.That's a wrap bud. She already sees you as an NPC. Worse. You're a hostile mob her actual love interest needs to rescue her from.
>>34907731I don't need advice from a loser.
>>34906820>But I gain nothing from just being told No or being a bore at a date.Yes you do. You gain experience talking to a woman, and knowledge of the limitations.
>>34907739I don't need limitations, I need breakthroughs.Ah well. Just like everything else I'll have to figure it out on my own.
>>34907780You're acting like you can do a magic trick to get someone who's uninterested to like you. Let me ask you this, did that ever work with making male friends? Because women aren't a separate species. What you need is to learn social norms in general.
>>34907738lol. I kinda agree with the anon you're replying to. If she's actively avoiding you dude, you've got to find another one.
>>34906820What I do is focus on a prop to compliment such as something they are wearing. People have more insecurities with what they were born with so complimenting smile or eyes can make people more sensitive vs something they chose.Usually if you break the ice with that and then ask how their day is you'll get a more personalized answer then asking it right off the start. After that you just need to know people love to talk about themselves so you need to practice asking questions to fuel that fire and they'll feel seen. When the conversation starts to die whether it is 2 minutes or hours you throw in if they would like to go on a walk, coffee or a dinner sometime. I find the former two are less confrontational as a date and more of a soft way to feel each other out (symbolically speaking) in a one on one environment.Theres no way you are going to ask someone out without showing you have an interest in them.Theres also no guarantee. You cant control her. What you gain is whether shes an option to pursue or you need to move on and a confidence boost for making the effort.I never knew if anyone i asked was gonna go anywhere, but its the same with getting a job. You get enough rejections and realize you need to sell yourself as more than an npc.Unless youre Hikikomori hunting or trying to date a landwhale, youre competing against other men for the woman's attention.Theres no female gaze or other bs some YouTube video will lie to you on signs a woman is in heat for you. Ask her or remain a faggot forever.
Be careful bro, shes a receptionist. She was hired to be nice and welcoming to people. Definently shoot your shot if you feel you need to but women dont like being asked out at work. Maybe get her details and talk to her out of work.
>>34908365>>34907813>>34907794Fine. Let's change the question. How do I make female friends? Sure for males you just pester them and suddenly they team up, but women are always with their guard high. The thing about interest, either I'm blind deaf or I legit never pique anyone's interest. It doesn't occur to me anything but telling a girl "Hey, you're cute and I need help making friends, mind if I tag along?". Any other ideas?

>>34908416Honestly this looks helpful. As long as a guy collects as many women as possible, his feelings will be diluted, so friendship is possible, and it's possible to start a friendship by asking someone out. Now, why would any person want to be friends with me? What options do I have to go get fun with other people? That kind of self-deprecation is currently my biggest obstacle. My only quality is being honest and giving advice I guess. The Carnegie said I should care about people's needs, but they seem to need nothing, and nobody opens up easily.
