I weigh 100kg, but I want to get down to 70 or 75kgWhat do I need to know to achieve this?I see that they say a low-carb diet is the best, even better than a low-calorie diet. But my diet has a lot of carbohydrates: oatmeal, corn tortillas, bananas, apples, tangerines. Also: What do I have to do to prevent sagging skin after losing weight?
CICO is the only answer. All those diets you are looking at only work because they achieve a calorie deficit in someway. If you struggle with maintaining a calorie deficit then get on a GLP1
You're an idiot. Also there is /fit/ and a trillion videos on youtube and professional information everywhere on the internet and in real life on this topic. Why are you asking this on /adv/? Too lazy to do your own research?
>>34906101What I did is I started hiking. I met my goal of 6000 steps a day (4.5 kilometers) every day for 3 months. My monthly average however, was 14500 steps, which is 10.5 kilometers, and on my best month 15000, which is 11km.I couldn't eat enough to stop the weight loss. I didn't allow myself to binge, other than that I ate whatever I felt like eating. I just made sure I wasn't eating like a pig.I personally can't eat that much, I work based off cravings. When I wanted something sweet, I'd let myself, but I'd choose the lesser evil. I took one bar of Snickers instead of a pack of m&ms. I took one chocolate bar or one pack of Oreos instead of like 2 tofiffees and a ferrero Roche. There's a difference there.I chose the lesser evil and yeah man I went from 106kg to 86 in the course of 8 or 9 months with the bulk of it being during those 3 hiking months.Like, if you can have the most basic restraint, like really basic because I was drinking banana milk and eating to go sandwiches and still having full course meals at restaurants and still having like a soft butter cake slice from the to go. If you can restrain yourself from getting anything above that, you'll lose the weight. And hikings hella easy it just takes time, but it's hella easy. Like. 15k steps takes around 2 and a half hours of active walking. No one actively walks the entire time okay let's be real, I'd add 50% to the active time and make it instead of 150 minutes (2 and a half hours) 225 minutes (3 hours 45 minutes) so I'm going to round it up for you.4 hours. You can achieve this even if you work. Meet the goal of 6k steps (4.5km) to keep yourself active and your body and muscles ready, and also to supplement your average. Then on the weekends/free days, do 30-40k steps (between 22km and 30km) on both days.In a 7 day period add those all up, average of 35k steps times 2 on the weekend (25.5km) and 6k steps (4.5km) every day.25.5+25.5+(4.5*5)= 73.5/7= 10.5km per day, or 14500 steps exactly.
>>34906101if you're 100kg then you have advantage of needing a lot of calories while being guaranteed to have a lot of stuff you can substitue or remove."low calorie diet" doesn't say much, but you can't lose weight until you consume less than you burn. there's more and less healthy ways to do it, but you can't cheat physics in either direction. you can get fat or not lose while consuming minimum amount of carbs, and you can lose weight while consuming almost only carbs. it only depends on the amount. either extreme will fuck up your health, probably, but you will lose/gain weight.basically what you need to know is that you need some calorie target that you can't exceed daily, 1800-2000kcal is good start for your weight and assuming male. honestly, that's actually all you need to do and you will steadily lose weight until you hit a point where your body (for example, at 80kg, but that's example, not exact) will require those 2000kcal to maintain weight and you'd have too go to ~1600 to get to 70kg.easiest things to cut first tend to be any sugar (if you eat soda, replace it diet soda or sparkling water or so. replace sugar with artifical sweetener like eryrthritol.) and overly fatty stuff. you say you do low carb so probaly odn't have much of it but fried stuff and so on. really, start with just counting calories and staying around ~2000. that by itself, for your weight, will result in slow weight loss. bigger deficit either by eating even less or adding excercise will then speed it up and/or let you go to lower weight over time.
