My fiancée dislikes my brother because he often makes comments that are sexist and disrespectful to women. We are holding a birthday party for me at our place and she said she doesn't want my brother in our house. Eventually I agreed to not inviting him because it's true he can't control himself and says offensive shit at inappropriate times. The party is supposed to take place on Saturday but after my parents found out we didn't invite my brother they got mad. Both of them are calling me now, telling me he's family, asking me whether it means I'm cutting contact with him completely, whether he will be at my wedding etc. I got into argument with them and at the end just said it's our place and our rules. Did I do anything wrong?
>>34906872>My fiancée dislikes my brother because he often makes comments that are sexist and disrespectful to women.BASED>Am I wrong for siding with my fiancée against my brotherYES>I got into argument with them and at the end just said it's our place and our rules. Did I do anything wrong? You're going to get brutally cucked, but I suppose you've already been retroactively cucked as I presume your "fiancée" was a ran through whore from the getgo before she met you.
If it's your birthday, then it should br your choice. It really depends on how much you like your brother, but it's clear from the family's side that the newcomer is now dictating policy which is creating a divide in the family. You fucked up there. But you also can't completely be dismissive about how your partner feels. You have to make it seem like you are compensating for that. You should just be having talks with the brother about behaving himself if it is that much of an issue, and have consequences that are known to him.
>>34906872If you have any trust with your brother you wouldnt make this your parents or fiances problem and talk to him one on one about keeping his yap shut to any event you are hostingIf he fails after the 1 on 1, then you have evidence of you trying to fix the situation, it not working; therefore not inviting him to future events.Common sense is not so common. If he thinks its acceptable to have 0 rules on his brand of comedy, and no one tells him otherwise, then his actions will continue.Id want my brother to be stand-up with me on that and not go around my back and make it a big issue with multiple parties involved. Its your birthday. Are you gonna be a brother or a cuck? This sounds like what your fiance wants for your bday
>>34906908Being a misogynist doesn't make you cool lil bro
>>34907011Being a cuck ain't a cool thing either, even if your own dad was one and had taught you that it was cool
>>34906872It's your birthday party man. You should decide if he gets to come over. Also do you think your brother would care if he's not invited? Maybe he doesn't mind. Also this kind of seems like a fake story thread, hard to tell.
>>34906872>My fiancée dislikes my brother because he often makes comments that are sexist and disrespectful to women.Your brother is based and you need to grow a pair and slap the bitch in her main set of cheeks
>>34906872I'm sorry you have to hear this but your fiance is a performative faggot. Bitching about a joke that isnt even directed at you is a clear sign of that.Even if you like how much of a feminist he is, someone who complains about minor crap all the time isnt my idea of a romantic interest and him trying to separate you from your family is a sign that he is a manipulator.
>>34907456I misread the post, I thought the fiancé was a male, either way she is a bitch, I can't believe you would kick our your own brother for her.
>>34907489better being a KHHV than being a cuckold
>>34906872Did you even speak to your brother about his comments like a grown man or did you just listen to your wife without even thinking of the consequences of your actions? Next time just talk to your brother, tell him not to make those comments at all or you'll throw him out, it was as simple as that, and if he refused you could have told your parents the reason why and not be seen like a fucking moron like you are now.
>>34906872It seems like its really your call. I feel like everyone is over reacting though. How bad are this dudes comments? I need some examples. I sounds like you guys are just being overly sensitive to some banter or clear jokes.
>>34906872It's your birthday. You're in the complete right for siding with your fiancee because of your brother's chud beliefs, but if YOU want him there, maybe come up with a compromise.>"hey babe, if my brother were to keep things to himself and not behave like a retard, would you reconsider him showing up to my party?">"hey chud, you can come to my party, but these are the rules you're going to have to abide by. if you can't accept the boundaries being set, then I can't have you here."
>>34906872Realisitically, you invite your brother and tell him to learn how to behave or youre going to kick him out. If he really is THAT belligerent then set a clear line in the sand with him. Letting your fiancee dictate how you interact with your family on YOUR birthday is honestly a bitch move dude. Grow some fucking balls.
>>34906872it would be really helpful if you told us what kinds of things he says and in what context and what your relationship with your brother is outside of these occurences
>>34906912>>34906984>>34907528>>34907724>>34907724These guys are correct, talk to your brother and tell him to act right around company or whatever. Don't be a bitch like your fiancé apparently is.
>>34906872Brother, your fiancée is telling YOU who is allowed at YOUR birthday party? You're such a gigantic faggot holy shit kill yourself
>>34907504>cuckold
>>34906872yeah cut it out, you're in the wrong
>>34906872If my brother excluded me from his birthday on purpose I would not speak to him again. Do you want to have a brother or not?
>>34906872No, you're fine. You can still keep in touch with ya brother over text or whatever though. That relationship doesn't need to be completely over.
>>34906872>Did I do anything wrong? No, I don't think so. It's your party, invite who you want, don't invite who you want. You can explain to your parents that of course you are not cutting contact with your brother entirely, but that you feel the party would be spoiled by him being there and you don't want to deal with that right now. Say you'll be happy to invite him to the wedding if he behaves better between now and then. I should ask, though: to what extent have you actually tried sitting your brother down and explaining to him that his behaviour is a problem? Given where we are now, this is probably a conversation to have after the party rather than before: if you talk to him now there's a high risk he'll promise to behave, you'll feel obliged to invite him after all, he'll break his promise and behave *really* badly, and that will seriously fuck things up between you and your fiancée. But after the party, have a serious talk with him. Make it clear that *you* have a problem with his behaviour (it's not just your fiancée), say that obviously you really want to get past this, but that it's not going to happen unless he starts behaving and talking differently; then give him a chance to show you he can, if he wants to try.
>>34908133The fiance is telling him who is allowed at HER home. The fiance is also (presumably) woman, so remarks demeaning women are rightfully insulting to her.She is not unreasonable here.
>>34906872>My fiancée dislikes my brother because he often makes comments that are sexist and disrespectful to womenWhat did he actually say?
Have you asked your fiancee's boyfriend what he thinks?
>>34906872Just talk to him you fool.If he doesnt back down on this then say you cant invite him to your parties or whatever and if he doesnt back down then that means he rather say the women are only good for sucking cocks at full volume than go to your weeding, thats on him.But you have to give him the chance.
>>34906872You know what you must do OP. Kill fiancé and then yourself.
>he can't control himself and says offensive shit at inappropriate timesHide your power level>my parents found out we didn't invite my brother they got mad. Both of them are calling me nowI'm be mad at my brother if he sics our parents on me to solve his problems for him.>our place and our rulesLol. Your house is your parents house and they do what they want
Op, what do you expect from making this thread.KHHV incels can't tolerate other men with different opinions. They have no real friends either. They're not going to understand why they don't get invited to parties and will blame other men for taking their chances with women. Most of them also can't understand what's wrong with having your parents dictate your relationships with other men because they're living under their parents' roofs forever. Being told how to have relationships with other men by their parents normal for the KHHV incels.
It's always women doing this sort of thing where they isolate their partner from his friends and family. It's starts slowly and sort of reasonably, "oh so and so creeps me don't have him around" and then 10 years you've burnt all your bridges, she's divoced raped you and the kids you had with her hate you like she manipulated you into hating your ex-family and ex-friends. I've seen it happen to many different men.
>>34906872Forget this bs mantra of "blood is thicker than water". If the guy (your brother) openly talk shit about women and TO YOUR FIANCEE, and can't be bothered to keep it to himself, then yes, don't invite him. It shouldn't even be a problem to you, unless you are someone with no moral compass who just let's it all go with the winds, with no respect for women. It shouldn't be up to your future wife to tell you that what your brother is doing, is wrong. fucking hell you nitwit. lol ..
>bros a drunk>roommate doesn't want to invite your brother over >bro does drink at inappropriate times>internet alcoholics say based! Sober is boring>parents tell you to let bro get drunk at your house>sis is feminist >friend says not to invite her cus she's misogynistic >sis does say inappropriate things at inappropriate times>reddit says kill all men>parents want you to let her protest Charlie kirk at your wedding>>34915684>The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the wombIt literally doesn't even matter who the other person is or how right they are. Op's family is being dicks.
>>34906872You're lucky you have a brother, my sister is a fat, tattooed feminist. She likes to ruin family gatherings by talking about retarded fat, feminist bullshit. You should tell your girl to shut her fucking mouth and be thankful for your brother.
>>34915706OP needs to man up like Jacob from Twilight bro, become the alpha wolf.
>>34907046Were you cucked bucked and broken?
>>34906872Be an adult. Tell your brother you want to have a chat, get a drink or a coffee or whatever the fuck y'all do, and let him know that he's a bit of a fuckwit and women are already actively avoiding being around him as a result. After a certain age, being siblings isn't enough. Would you spend your time and effort hanging out with him as a mate if he were any other adult man? If not, why? Help him grow up, OP.
if your brother actually is offputting it is valid for her to not want him in your space when there will a bunch of other people, not just you and your parents. there will be times where she'll have to tolerate his behavior. your brother's beliefs and misogyny is one thing, but not being able to control your words and understand what shouldn't be said because it'll offend those around you is a basic fucking skill that he should have by now
No one ITT knows what the brother said.
