Id go to /g/ or /vg/ and ask there. /g/ has a general that is more receptive. /g/ has an online chatbot and local chatbot general.
As for a front-end everyone will say to use silly tavern. Its a bit of a pits to set up but will give you the most options.
For local models you will need good gpus. Its gonna be your most stable in terms of whether a service will stay up or not but online is going to function better.
Idk much for the online services people use now. Last I saw the Chinese versions were much cheaper than us. But no idea whats best and isnt going to crash out at some point on memory. Id ask on vg and g. they have resources in the op. They also offer ways to get around paying but it prob works for a few days to weeks and then you need to start from scratch.
For all in one online gf bots what ive seen recommended most was kindroid. That was a year or two back though and things move so fast it may be shit now.
