I'm a deeply critical person. I used to be an absolute loser and turned my life around. I got fit, I got a better job, and I find it very difficult to relate to people now. When I'm having conversations with people that turns political or whatever you want to call it, I always come across as very callous because I've pretty much done all the hard steps. I consider my self to be understanding of opposing ideas. I feel like understanding and blind accepting are two very different things but it feels like if I don't succumb to the idea that we should be fine with mediocrity, I'm seen as hateful.
Does it make me jaded/arrogant to think that we should be a more fit and moral society and we should hold people to higher standards? people always end up thinking i'm some loony republican even though I'm not even conservative.

You're a cynic asshole. Nobody cares about a "better" society. People just want to have fun, and whatever they think about politics doesn't matter at all.

If their opinions bother you so much, jestermaxx so you derail the conversation or make light of political bullshit. Nobody cares how much you've put in effort.

yeah but a lot of people's "fun" is trying to engage in "deep" conversations or bitching about how the world isn't fair.
that being said, jestermaxxing really is the answer. no one ever really changes their mind without personal experience anyway.

you can believe whatever you want, how you express those beliefs is probably what's getting the negative reaction
like you're an experienced, hard-worked guy who's seen it all. cool, there are plenty of those who don't use that as an excuse to act arrogant

>he let the process change him mentally

Jestermaxxing and deep conversations aren't mutually exclusive.

Why do people have to give shitty names to random skills, can't we just call it being funny and smart, what if we call it cynical dialectic?
