I see and hear things like they are not really there. I hear voices coming from a certain direction, or see images in a certain direction. I think that's the best I can describe it.

Sometimes it seems like someone from the past is talking to me. Or I am seeing things that are happening somewhere. In cartoon images.

The psychiatrists say it's a form of Schizoaffective Disorder. I have tried many medications, and it seems to be medication resistant.

Does anyone else experience this, to some amount?

It seems so real, like there are actual people communicating with me.
>>
yes others experience it
it's bc the shit is messing with your ability to even tell what's real or not
sorry you're going through that

Do you think some of what I see and hear this way is real?

no
but you do and won't be able to tell the difference without medical assistance

I sometimes do. Doesn't happen almost ever, but very rarely when I for example use a hairdryer and blow air into my ears I hear something that kinda resembles human chatter. Other than that when I am extremely tired I will also interpret background noises as people talking, but I really have to be on something like 30h of no sleep for that to occur. Also there's this strange issue when I listen to very repetitive music I start interpreting the lyrics as something that could mean something to me, not in the typical schizo way of someone trying to talk literally to me, but just something that my mind decided that it's worth paying attention to (like someone saying something that resembles my name in a song over and over, stuff like that). That's probably just listening to brainrot too much and it never happens with classical, but still normal people don't have this I wager.

Also sometimes when I stare at my computer wallpaper too much I see strange shapes and faces forming, but only when I am literally looking at it for an hour straight and had the same one set for months, still I guess it's quite unusual.

I'm close to 30, if you're wondering. Your situation seems a bit worse, I'm sorry to hear that. When it happens to me I freak out a little because it's not common (maybe once in a couple of weeks), I couldn't imagine living like this all the time.
