i have been born in an abusive household i used to tend to my moms emotional state, because she wasnt very stable + my dad used to beat her so i felt it was on me to make her feel betternow i grow up to be very sensitive towards females and feel like that i have to tend to their needs and i feel like shit for itlike i have no self worth and like i need to be redeemed and accepted by them
>>34912772You misdiagnosed your own issue. You just want a girlfriend and you think that will be achieved if you're just nice to women.I'd say only be nice to women you're genuinely interested in and ignore all the others. But don't let them take advantage of you kindness towards them. For example don't give an hour long ride to a girl that isn't your girlfriend. You can obviously be a nice person towards them but seriously don't go out of your way to do something for a girl that isn't even your girlfriend

You just want a girlfriendhmm i dont think i do? im not surei just feel less than most people and i have to prove myself to themwhich in return makes me insecure and hostile sometimesi just want to get over how my mom made feel, the urge to make her proud which seeped into every relation i had in general, with grandma, female friends, sister and my exi feel like i have to make them love me idk why i cant be content with myself
oh my god that's exactly how i want my son to treat me...if i ever have one...
>>34912878Hmm well in that case you might have some real trauma. Try to ask yourself why you feel less than females? Is it because you feel guilty for what your dad did to your mom and you're the same gender as you did therefor you must now try to set things right? If you can figure out why you feel this way you might be able to do something about it
>>34912988because i felt like my mom never tended nor really cared about me hence the "unstable"i always felt i needed to prove myself and her love was conditional so the forms of showing my "loyalty" was either by being better at school, polite, subservient or blatantly being a "therapist" to cheer her up when she was crying, sad in general
