I'd say that YOU'RE the one that's responsible for their care, for decades. If anybody judges you negatively for aborting they can go fuck themselves imo, they're not the ones putting in the work to raise them. People with downs have complex health concerns, often specialized schooling, more care into their adulthood etc. Ask yourself what you want your life to look like 5, 10, 20 years from now instead of worrying about the near to mid term consequences of peoples' judgement.

I will add; people often grow to love people with downs and enjoy caring for them even when they're older. You also have the option of having more kids after. But only go that route if that's what you actually want.
