No, dentistry saves lives Some orthodontics can be scammy, but they can also greatly improve aesthetics, as long as they aren't doing unnecessary extractions. People legitimately die from poor buccal health, and most of those issues are outside a doctor’s scope.

legitimate field but very little regulation and a lot of dentists are cowboys who will do work you don't need to scam youtheres also very little constructive research because all the dentists are already hardcore on the gravy trainyou have to go to the dentist but if a dentist tells you you need like 8 fillings at a first appt get a second opinion
