Now I know that all the new cars are the street every day are their doordash orders and so I don't need to stare when I see a car I don't recognize. They like gardening. Okay, whatever. I looked to make sure that whatever they do won't disrupt me, now I can go back inside, watch TV, play games, and answer /adv/ threads, or go outside and do my usual outside stuff.

I am standing in my garage/driveway smoking at pretty much random hours of the day but for long periods of time. I have longtime neighbors who I know well and there are a few houses where people who have come and gone- regardless of who they are, I “see” what they are doing but 5 seconds later I’ve already mostly forgotten because it’s fucking rude to remember. Sometimes there are young teenagers who seem to have snuck out to kick a ball around and chat on my street and in the cul du sac near my house. It’s hard not to hear them talking at 2am when sound carries but I still make a point not to listen to their conversations because I think kids deserve to talk to each other without the adult Gestapo stopping every little thing. I've been watching them from my bedroom window. It's hard not to cause of all the fucking noise they make during the day. The fucking trucks, the sawing, the bobcats plowing soil, the cement truck pouring concrete.It's really fascinating watching how a construction crew builds something from the ground up, all from the comfort of my bedroom window.
