There's a girl I've been meeting in and out to meet while playing board games and we get along really well, she's single, almost the same age as me, and into the same nerdy stuff that we geek out with for hours and are even physically active. I won't deny I think she's attractive.Problem is that I don't fantasize about this at all, I desperately want a woman who I can be sincere with because I have aspergers and social interaction legitimately requires my brain to be working in overdrive. I need a woman who is able to work through with me and help me figure out how to get these ideas out of my head and into paper much more than a woman who shares the same hobbies as me. I used to cope by having a woman in my head hold my hand as I work through things in my daily life but now that woman is frequently looking like her.How do I stop this? Even if she genuinely liked me, which I doubt given how I've known her for a few years and how infrequent we meet, fantasizing her as my wife doesn't feel right because wife =/= friend. I'm also perpetually horny (I mask it so while I still come off as weird it's not in the creep way) so I also fantasize about doing things with my wife that are more than just handholding.
>>34955406You had better be careful. She might actually make you happy.
Go find an autistic or aspergers girl instead. Normal girl won't understand you.
>>34956829She makes me happy but in the way a friend does, but I'm presumingly imagining her as a wife in my head and it's annoying.>>34956834I actually did get into a relationship with an autistic girl once. She used autism as an excuse for the dumbest stuff possible and ultimately just left me on a whim. I actually need a woman who can function well in daily society too because that's my weakness but if she isn't into me because I'm not normal then none of it matters.
>>34955406Bump.
>I'm also perpetually hornyNearly every man is, it's a biological imperative and it only stops if you have severe reproductive damage or mental trauma. Here's the important thing you need to know about women in those spaces: they get asked out constantly by men who are exactly the type of people to play board games and table top games. It's up to you to both balance her comfort against your very clear needs. If you have only known her for a few years and you're infrequent about meeting up, have you considered doing not-board game stuff with her to see what she is like outside of that environment? If you are a sperg, you genuinely should recognize that the most logical thing to do in this situation is to find out and make your next decision about this person be guided by their actions. You just have to think about this in a methodical, logical manner as it pertains to your mental health. Also>wife =/= friendYour wife should be your best friend ideally, stop subscribing to the opinion that romantic relationships can't be friendships that evolve over time.

She friends with my friend's wife and I tag along with them. Sometimes I'm the only guy in the group but my autistic behavior seems more endearing and childlike to them rather than creepy. > have you considered doing not-board game stuff with her to see what she is like outside of that environment?I've gone hiking with her, but never alone and not even as the only guy. I wouldn't know how because we are both fairly conservative when it comes to the opposite sex.>If you are a sperg, you genuinely should recognize that the most logical thing to do in this situation is to find out and make your next decision about this person be guided by their actionsI've been chasing to be capable of independently think my whole life, especially since my true dream before I die is to complete my art project and make it actually good. The problem is I'm not getting younger and I realize how it's impossible to make anything good, even creatively, without help, so I genuinely don't know how to achieve it and make it good without a wife who can give me feedback. I guess I'm agreeing with you that it's the practical solution.>Your wife should be your best friend ideally, stop subscribing to the opinion that romantic relationships can't be friendships that evolve over time.I agree, but I am just really honest and know that my ultimate goal is marriage. There was one woman I met who openly told me she wanted to be married and she motivated me more than any other person despite things ultimately not working out. Having to manage in this obscure window between friend and potential wife is so frustrating to my brain.
