32yo foid originally from the UK but working in Japan for the foreseeable future. I spent my 20s working hard to get to Japan, and I love it here, but now I want to meet a man, get married and have children.Meeting people is hard so please recommend me some dating sites to try where I can find men into anime and vidya, who wouldn't mind a nerdy 30+ year old virgin foid to be their wifey.
>>34957093Anime Discord Servers
>>34959814Any one in particular?I’m not interested in people arguing over power scaling or which waifu has the best ass.
>>34959944Any server which has an active voice chat. I don't know a particular one. Yes, I know they're all hiding behind anime profile pictures, but they're also the most receptive towards Japanese culture.I would just socialize a bit in the general chat to see who you click with.Else there is always Tinder on passport mode. Most importantly is to visualize your ideal future. I know this sounds woo woo, but it's worth a shot.I trust this helped
>>34959814>foid wants a family, meaning a man who can take care of kids, dish out some tough love, have some backbone, be responsible>yeah go to manchildren discordsNot shitting on anime in particular, I love that shit, but I would never dream of going on an anime discord. I have played with too many anime profile picture main character syndrome type of people to know where this is going
>>34960304Okay yeah I admit, looking for that type of man in a Discord server is like looking for a needle in haystack. I don't know where else OP can look for... Maybe on LibkedIn? Lol. Or pubcrawls in Tokyo for UK tourists or a language exchange or something...
>>34960325She's in Japan, she can probably do any sort of dating site / app or ANY sort of event / social gathering and there's a huge chance there's gonna be a "normal" guy there who's at least somewhat into that. Especially the more introverted type of people.
japanese cannot cut trees like me. that is all
>>34960325I don’t get enough time off work to travel all the way to Tokyo. Closest major city is Osaka but even that’s 3 hours away by train. I love my life in the countryside but it’s useless for meeting new people.I know I’m being picky, wanting a guy into anime or vidya who isn’t a complete sperg. I’ll keep searching.
>>34960390She's looking for a Brit, not a local Nip.>>34960472Why do you live in some rural Japanese village with the rice fields ? Grim. Don't the villagers hate gaijins like you or do they go easy on you because you're a foid? And yeah, maybe you can find an anime/vidya adjacent guy, like a streamer, influencer or some kinda animemerch entrepreneur/freelancer or something because that shows they're ambitious or social or whateverGambatte, foid-chan !
>>34960472What is your job?
>>34960560Japanese people tend not to give a fuck if you’re white (ie not brown or black) and don’t stick out. I live in the sticks because I’ve got a monthly rent of 50,000 yen for a two bedroom apartment. That wouldn’t even get me a cupboard in a big city like Tokyo.>>34960563Guess. Obviously I teach English to children. You’d think that means I get spring and summer off, right? Nope, still Monday-Friday. No students, just lesson prep and studying Japanese.
>>34961086Hi anon, I live in Japan too and I’m 33. We can be friends at least if you would, my discord is flashbar
>>34961086>Japanese people tend not to give a fuck if you’re whiteI look Wasian with green eyes so I stick out, I got some glares lol. Why is that? I kinda look like them too. They were nicer once we've spoken with each other.Props on the amazing deal you got there, wow, is food also easy to get or do you cook everything from the local 7eleven? And why did you choose to live in Japan? Very curious because I don't like where I live ever since I was 14. >>34961086>spring and summer off, right? Nope, still Monday-Friday. No studentsWhy not? I don't get it, so you still have to go to school and just practice and prepare there by yourself? And do the other (native) teachers have to do that too? This convo is SO INTERESTING ahaha
>>34961338Japanese people don’t like other Asians. Particularly Chinese and Korean people. I have a friend who worked in China for five years and she always complains when we’re out and she sees Chinese people. They were probably nicer when they realised you weren’t fully Chinese or whatever.Food is cheaper from the supermarket than Seven Eleven. Prices have gone up recently though, just like elsewhere in the world. Eating out is way cheaper though. I don’t eat huge portions so a 600 yen bowl of udon will fill me.All the other teachers come in during the holidays, too. But the atmosphere is chill and since there’s no school lunch, we usually go out to eat together or do a conbini run.I don’t mind talking about it more! Let me know your Discord and I’ll send you a message later (going to work now).
>>34961884Not that anon but I wonder where in Japan you are. I also taught English, in Hyogo, also lived in a big apartment and rent was 11,000 yen (!). Live in Tokyo now though
>>34961884>Japanese people don’t like other Asians.Ohh, wtf... That is so strange and backwards hahaVery interesting, thank you! Sure, my Discord is artist_03216
>>34962301Not to doxx myself, but I live on Shikoku. And not near one of the two bridges to the mainland. 11,000 is super cheap! Was the apartment built in the 1800s?How much is your Tokyo rent vs how long is your commute, anon? I’m genuinely considering moving closer to a big city for convenience but I don’t like the prices/commute times.>>34963432That’s just want I’ve assumed since Japanese people I know usually talk smack about those countries in particular. Maybe it’s the just the area I live where they hate them?
>>34963432In general most East Asians hate any race that's not their own, especially other Asians
