I am seriously at my wits end with my girlfriend's insecurity and retroactive jealousy. It seems like everyday she finds something to be upset about how me or the life I have lived. At first I found it cute and nice how she would be obsessive about me. But now I can't even do errands, go to the gym, or hangout with friends without accusations of cheating. She always has my live location, which I thought would help but it hasn't.Any normal and everyday interactions or even being in proximity with women is suspect to her.I am basically forbidden to even talk about my exes or past relationships to her because it will just turn into an argument.Today she told me I need to buy a new bed and sheets because she "doesn't want to sleep in the same bed other whores have".She can be very pleasant and sweet and she is incredibly attractive and the sex it great, but this constant bickering is starting to seriously impact how I live my life.I am likely going to breakup with her, and it makes me sad. Have any other anons dealt with something like this? How did it end or did you make it work?
why the fuck are you repeatedly bringing up a topic you know she is insecure about and that upsets hershe needs psychiatric help with this, you are not obligated to stay with her and should break up if you feel so inclined but if you are going to stay you should be supportive, avoid her triggers, and help her work through her issues
>>34957841If you're referring to talking about my exes, its because she brings up her exes and shares her experiences and I would like to think I can also share mine since we're both adults. If your advise is to treat her like a toddler I can try that too I suppose.
>>34957852being aware of someone's triggers and avoiding them is not 'treating them lime a toddler'you are not compatible with this woman and it's best for both of you in the long run you break up with her
>>34957852Not mentioning something that you know will upset someone isn't treating them like a toddler, it's basic human decency and respect.
>>34957800Get rid of her for both your sanity and hers. I have an ex which would be bothered by the same things, only differences are she didn't want to make it my problem, which then caused further problems because it was never addressed or spoken about. Relationships like these aren't compatible because there are very obvious unresolved insecurities and it isn't fair on you nor her to strain whatever is left of your guys' relationship.
