I'm an 18 y/o girl with nothing but bad experiences when it comes to past relationships. I know stockholm syndrome is a thing but I feel like such an attention seeker for it. Can it even be helped? Does anyone else deal with this?
Normal desire to have but do not act on it whatever you domen are overwhelmingly evil predators, anyone older than like 22 pursuing you in the next 2ish years is going to take advantage of you and saddle you with lifelong trauma. begging you to dodge the bullet on this onehave age appropriate relationships. you are 18, you do not have the sufficient experience and context to understand a lot of the risks we face as women, as much as you might feel like you do

>>34960110What you're describing is not uncommon, but also not healthy. If you're accustomed to being treated badly - and it often starts with your family while you're growing up, not with your first gf or bf - then being treated badly starts to feel familiar, to the point that if someone doesn't treat you badly it feels wrong. And, related to this, if you don't like yourself very much, then it can feel that if someone actually likes you, there must be something wrong with them. It is unfortunately true that some people are more vulnerable to being exploited than others. This doesn't make it your fault; but it does mean that abusive men are actively on the lookout for someone like yourself, because you're easy prey, so you do need to be watchful. It's good that you're aware of the pattern your past relationships are forming. What you need to do now is have to courage to actively try to break out of that, even if it feels weird at first. Try going with someone who feels safe rather than someone who feels exciting.>>34960129>men are overwhelmingly evil predatorsSteady on.But to be fair, dating someone age-appropriate is good advice for OP.
>>34960201https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC4589184/63% of men will self report having committed sexual assault or rape when surveyed, you cannot trust any man
>>34960220>Fifty-four percent of participants (n = 88) were African American
>>34960220>survey is 63% men are rapists>applies percentage to 100% of all men>women are bigger sheeple than men>applying hypergamy and double standards to 100% women?>misogyny
>>34960220Given that they were including "verbal coercion" in the definition of assault - which can include her saying "I'm not in the mood", him saying "oh go on, please?" and her saying "oh, all right then" - I'm not sure how meaningful that really is.
>>34960236If I handed you a burrito and said there was a 63% chance i had shit in it would you chow down
>>34960241>>34960236>>34960235Yes, if only niggers shit in the burrito, saying the word "shit" at any point before, during, or adter makibg the burrito was considered equivalent to shitting in it, and a non-nigger made it

>>34960549are you slow?
>>34960110Hey, OP, are you actually still around, or have you given up on this thread?
>>34960804if the mood is right sometimes yh. i can fuck fast i can fuck slow i can fuck rough i can fuck sweet.
>>34960846been checking back occasionally, only 2 people cared to actually respond lol
>>34963455>>34960110You are naturally subservient and there's nothing wrong with that.
>>34963460I don't really go on 4chan a lot, but when making this thread I just assumed nobody (maybe except trolls) would respond at all. was definitely surprised
>>34963460(NTA) Seeking dominance and seeking abuse aren't the same thing.
>>34963455Would you like to tell us a little more about what your past relationships have been like, and what it feels like you're looking for, and which parts of what you're looking for seem healthy or unhealthy to you?
>>34963535It's hard to group all of them since all of them were vastly different, but I were to highlight all the major ones I feel like I'd say it was always neglectful to a degree, whether that be straight up constantly ignoring me or acting like an asshole towards me. Not to mention having age inappropriate relationships in the past from when I was a minor.
>>34963545Nothing here sounds that bad exactly. You weren't beaten or anything? How much older were these guys and how old were you?
>>34963548None of it was physical. When I was 15 my ex boyfriend was 20, and when I was 16 my boyfriend was 24.
>>34963545Have a read of this, and see if it sounds familiar at all: https://www.simplypsychology.com/articles/anxious-avoidant-trap
>>34963550Why did you feel attracted to these older guys? Did you feel they had something boys your own age (at the time) lacked?
>>34963553Not really, I never actively searched for partners. They sort of just came to me and I reciprocated. Sometimes it'd make me feel anxious that they were just using me for whatever reason, but I stayed anyway because I was afraid of being alone.
>>34963557Did they lie about their age? What did you think when that guy told you he was 24?
>>34963565Nope, neither lied to me about their age. Started out as friends.
>>34963576Interesting. What if the dude was like 30? Would you have still gone along with it all?
>>3496358930 is a bit old, but I feel like I still would've reciprocated it.
>>34963621Do you think a lot of this happened because you didn't have many friends? Or am I making assumptions here.
>>34963629I had a normal number of friends I'd say, I guess I was just more so lonely romantically. Trying to fill in the gaps.
Ill get u, drop ur cord and ill add, u can fly over eventually if ur lucky
>>34963642Looking back now, do you regret it or do you see it more as a character forming experience?
>>34963655Based
>>34963658A fair balance of both. Regrettable, but it did form me into being more careful in the future I guess.
Drop it or ill go apeshit
