How to negotiate for higher pay when taking a low-tier job? Like, every piece of advice about negotiating pay I can find is intended for corporate office workers. I'm talking about working in a factory, but being experienced at that particular machine.

How do you do it? Every time I try these faggots are like "Well just start you out at the standard rate and see where it goes."

Fuck you bitch, I got legit references as to having run these machines for years!

“I’ve done this job for years and I’ve got references to back that up. I’m not really looking to start on the same rate as someone who’s never touched the machine. What can you do on the rate?”

"Sorry we don't care about references or experience even though we still need to confirm them and wouldn't of hired you otherwise."

Attack the person interviewing you. You will show that you are powerful and deserving of more money.

"Okay I've got 5 more interviews lined up, bye. Call me when you're desperate for a competent hard worker, the rate I want will be doubled by then."

I suppose bluffing about other opportunities is a option. Maybe less aggressive then that tho.

No you must be very aggressive. Act like they're wasting your time. Get physical if necessary.
