Am I weird/the asshole?
>be f
>Have close male friend who I've known a few years
>I recently realize I secretly like him
>He has a girlfriend
>A couple weeks ago I'm hanging out with this friend.
>We kiss and make out a little. Alcohol is not involved
>I feel guilty, don't know how to face him. Ignore his texts
>Finally we meet up and talk about it
>He tells me he didn't think it was a big deal and wants to go back to being friends
>This pisses me off
>I ask him how the hell that could happen now that I revealed my true feelings, tell him I'm not going to be strung along while he waits and sees if things work with his gf
>"So what, you're giving me an ultimatum? Her or you?"
>Nooo! I don't want him to break up with her, I'm not a homewrecker, but I also don't see how we could just pretend what happened didn't happen.
>We haven't talked since
Am I crazy? Is it actually not a big deal? To me it was. It feels like he's just fucking with me. But he acted like I was weird for thinking this is a big deal.

He's a cheating bastard, and you're a slut who is attracted to the same traits which make him a cheating bastard (reality-warping self-assurance which comes off as confidence, for example). It's also telling that you're more concerned over which of you is weird than over how fucked up your little makeout session with a taken "friend" was of both of you.

Anyway, this kind of thing is all downstream of
>be f
>Have close male friend
Each of you is a case study in why men and women can't be friends. So stop doing that.

You're both wrong. He shouldn't be kissing women behind his girlfriends back, unless they got some open kind of thing. You shouldn't be kissing men who are already in a committed relationship.

Whatever you do with it now is secondary, the trespass has already occurred. If you want to salvage your friendship, I would suggest letting it go and trying to move past it as friends. If you feel slighted and want to pay him back for playing games, you'll tell his girlfriend and ruin their relationship along with your friendship with him.

You should distance yourself from this guy immediately.

He has a girlfriend, you have feelings for him and being close to him "as friends" is obviously hurting you. You can't ever truly be friends with someone you have feelings for and you could get yourself into serious trouble if his girlfriend is jealous and aggressive and finds out that you were making out with him.

We get threads like this all the time and most of the time OP knows exactly what the most obvious answer is: Get away and move on.

Yeah, women be like "every man only wants to fuck" and at the same time insist that their "friends" do not want to fuck them.
Any man worth his balls will never tolerate his girl having male friends.
