>meet cute girl who i get along with well
>tell her early on i cant do a relationship because im not over another girl
>spend about 7 months together, 20 hours a week together, 10 of them privately/alone
>learn everything about each other
>fall in love with each other
>intimate, but no sex (both our boundaries because coworkers)
>get email my shift is changing
>talk to her one last time, tell her I want to stay friends but I can't be her boyfriend
>she says she doesn't want to talk anymore, or even to ever text me, basically complete detachment
>take this harsh, argue that it feels so bad to make somebody who I let so close turn into a stranger
>she says its the end

I'm the bad guy for making a woman fall in love with no ability or intention or entering a romantic relationship with them, right?

I just wanted to stay fucking friends. No intimacy, no dating, why couldn't we just be fucking friends
