Following up on >>34924342After talking to the family doctor, she immediately said it was a psychotic episode and he needed immediate psychiatric assistance, apparently he already had a history and I never knew. In hindsight the signs were pretty obvious and if I was aware of his condition I probably could have moved earlier, now he's had a year of this shit building up.So with that said, anyone have any advice for convincing a crazy person to go to the crazy doctor? The family doctor offered to help convince him through an appointment, but that's all we have at the moment.
Desperation bump
i am not sure if there is much you can do, at least where i am, someone going through a psychotic episode have to seek professional help on their own accord, unless they are a danger to themselves or others.go check out some specific subreddits for what you are dealing with, they usually have resources and information listed of these kinds of things. also inform yourself about the situation in your country, what your possibilities are.good luck!
>>34965616what makes you think hes crazy and you arent?
>>34970088For one, external validation. The doctor and the immediate family all agree that he is having an episode.Secondly, the denial of evidence. Whenever the evidence hinted at innocence, he ignored it and continued spying. Finally, him having had psychiatric history before, as well as a brother who has schizophrenia.>>34970083Thanks.
