I honestly do not understand how to be normal. Everytime I go outside or talk to anyone they always talk to me differently or politely exclude me from their group. Part of it is maybe that I don't "read the room", but when I do that I just end up not talking or being extremely boring. How do I just fit in anywhere and not be an outsider all the time.
>>
You literally can't, you're autistic. You will never ever fit in with real people. Just try to find other autists that you can be miserable with together.

I'm socially inept because I sat in front of screens most of my life, I'm not autistic. I don't act like how I described around family, and none of them are autistic even if they are not full on normies. I also suspect you have no idea what you're talking about, as I don't relate to actual autistics entirely. Ignoring the fact that the terminally online ones have gone insane.

there are resources to help learn about social cues online. it can be difficult with people irl because most people are conflict avoidant and won't say anything if you do something that makes them uncomfortable. if you pay attention to how people react to certain things it's possible to develop a cause & effect understanding of socializing even if you don't have an inherent instinct for it. everyone has to be taught these things, you're not hopeless you're just a late bloomer

You used the word autistic in your header. You are in fact autistic. What I said stands.

You can try to mask it. It'll be difficult first but eventually you'll get there. Or see a psychologist to become more socialable even as an autistic person
