How am I such an abject fucking loser with friendship, yet have a solid track record with women? Consider the following.>multiple friend groups wouldn't exist without me having introduced these people>fast forward to late 20s>respective groups all keep in touch, having kicked me to the curb forever ago>other dudes just seem to constantly end up thinking i'm an undesirable fucking weirdo somehow>women apparently disagree>i always did pretty good but then made that final real push>pull a literal 10/10 athlete very european looking blonde temptress who worships me for no good fucking reason>be successful and attractive enough to offset the fact that i have zero actual friends>nonetheless stalk the socials every so often like a bitter freak>see they are all stuck with way less attractive women than my girl and feel a fleeting moment of solaceWhat can I do to cope about this?>just make new friends broI'm pushing 30 and people seem to be maximizing antisociality everywhere I try to
they hate us cause they anusenvy kicks the cream of the crop out of friend groupstry hanging out with people more successful than you with girls as hot as yoursor not, you know, no new friends and all that, focus on your net work and net worth
>>34973636Complete friendless solitary tumbleweed in the wind, BUT saved repeatedly by atmospheric pussy. It's not ideal. It feels backwards. It makes me resent my common man for thinking me so goddamn fucking unworthy of human connection at every turn, while the story with the opposite sex is the OPPOSITE. How is that even possible, nigga? Guess this is a hag stag playthrough.
>>34973575Maybe you were just too busy bird doggin pussy to be there for the fellas. Or they sense you have this status-comparison mindset and feel you judging their girlfriends.I have a friend like this so I'm just projecting his life onto you. He brings this Lothario vibe whenever you're hanging out, which was fine in college when we were all just trying to get laid as much as possible, but it has soured his relationships later into his 20's.
>>34974612The comparing got worse after as a coping device to feel better about the fact that the fellas were rolling on happy without me. I know I do have a giant ego now but I promise it wasn’t always this way. I want a solution ie new friends but I don’t know what to do. It doesn’t seem like I can do anything. Clearly other men think of me as a fucking weirdo to be avoided or ignored, but I’m sure my own resentment is seeping through and self fulfilling that.As an aside I can’t get a therapist because my HIPAA rights are waived and it will destroy my career 100%. Awesome fucking society.
>>34974690Is your girl charming at all? Tell her to get off her pretty ass and go make some friends. Maybe worm your way into a new crew through couples.
>>34973575>How am I such an abject fucking loser with friendship, yet have a solid track record with women?Your first mistake was assuming that finding a gf is harder than making friends. Your second mistake was assuming those 2 skills are transferrable. Your third mistake is not being able to identify why guys don't like you. You're going to have to find out why for yourself because nobody here knows you. The best we can do is project stuff onto you which isn't ideal.
>>34974939Completely fair. There was a way shorter question to ask. >>34974783That’s just keeping me sane. I think my problems probably are less circumstancial and more, wow, autistic freak with an ego. I probably put a lot other “fellow men” down too without realizing it. How do I become somebody that fellow men gravitate to?
>>34975042I think the problem is trying to be someone that men gravitate to. Have you ever gravitated to another man? You can't win at friendship, just gotta play your role and be comfortable. The only people I see making new friends as an adult are the outwardly bubbly people. I can't get myself to do it, it feels corny to put an exclamation point in my texts. But I respect the people who do it as necessary to social cohesion. It's hard (maybe impossible) to just become one of those people, but I think the real secret to their success is being engaging and reactive to others. Like moving the ball around in conversations, and giving big laughs when someone makes a joke or something.
