When she started dating her new bf 6 months ago, she would change per profile picture every two weeks of one with him and her. Her new bf would change it every two months.

Now all of a sudden, he removed his picture and she changed the picture of him and her to one I took of her.

Does it mean anything? Also how can you be ok with using a photo that your ex took of you? When we were togheter that day I saw a future with you and I loved you. I can never look back at those old photos and not feeling anything, let alone use them for social media. I know she probably moved on and she just sees it as a picture but how can you possibly detach like that.

Also your bf didn’t take a single good solo picture that you felt was worth using? Why use the one I took of you

When a woman loses a partner she feels like she's lost a "relationship"

When a man loses a partner he feels like he's lost a "life".

She doesn't have the same baggage from the relationship like you do. So she was never "attached" like you were to it. That is why she thinks of it as just a "picture".

But that’s so fucking brutal. She has this as her profile picture and she really doesn’t think that in that moment when I looked at her and she looked at me we didn’t see love in each others eyes? When I look at the photos she took of me at that same spot I see my face in a way that I have never seen before. It was the feeling that I found my person. I have to hold back myself from feeling heartache when I look at those pictures. And she can just display them to the world just because it’s a good picture and ignore the sentimental value?

When I look at her profile picture and she is looking back at me there was a point in the past where at the present moment she was looking at me with that smile. When I look at the picture it’s like I’m back at that moment

>But that's so fucking brutal.
Welcome to life brother. It's a cruel and vicious beast.

>we didn't see love in each others eyes
I bet in that moment she did.
But I have a feeling you saw more than love. You saw a future life with her. You made her a part of your identity. Women aren't normally going to make you a part of their identity. It makes getting over break ups easier.
You just have to realize that women don't normally get as attached as men. They like to keep their distance and keep you at arms length emotionally.
I'm not condoning it but rather I'm trying to explain how things are in this world

Absolutely brutal but trve

I wonder if this is a "woman caring too much about her appearance" situation and she cares so much about having an aesthetic picture that she isn't even thinking about the fact that it is the love in that moment that made the picture so good
>>

>she isn't even thinking about the fact that it is the love in that moment that made the picture so good

She looked like a complete plain Jane in that picture, but her smile is radiant.

I feel like I should also mention, this picture was taken with the Chicago skyline as the background, it’s genuinely a good picture but still…it was a very romantic time it’s hard to just treat it as a picture even though the scenery is great
>>
>>34975457
Don't be silly, OP, she was swallowing his coom this entire time

>>34975490
lol no femoids coined the term "the one that got away"
>>
The subject of the picture is herself. So she only sees herself. Women are such vain creatures, it's doubtful she remembers the context of the image. If she does, it doesn't matter to her. Men tend to cherish the good and blot out the bad. Women are opposite to that, and hold onto negative emotions forever, and completely forget the good times. Does Narcissus give a shit about the water that reflects him? Fuck no. Just himself. This is all of modern women today, buddy.

If she wanted shit to do with you she could reach out. Or you can stop being a simp and stop e-stalking someone who left you. Let it go. It means nothing. Even if she came back, you have absolute proof you aren't her first option and she will just leave you again when her next best percieved option comes along. Ship has sailed. Never take exes back. Let if go. This is how they are. Stop projecting man's love onto the lesser sex incapable of feeling it-- for your own sake. Learn fucker. Read what I am writing. Delete everything that has to do with her and don't look back.

it means you took a good picture & she doesnt think about you enough to remember that you took this pic. dont think too much
>>
>>34975581
unironically a really great response here. I am not in a relationship and I probably will never be, but having to be around most modern women in general back then, all i can safely say is that having to deal with them afterwards is almost never worth it.

Award-winning post.

Her looking good in that picture is more important than the fact an ex took it. Some women can compartmentalize pretty well, and even so, it’s been 6 months since the breakup (or more) and you’re still obsessing to this level. To her, especially with a new relationship to further bury any lingering feelings for you, you are no longer an emotional factor in anything in any way whatsoever. I’m sorry anon. It’s happened to me too and I’ve had this same thought process.
>>
I dated a photographer. Why not use the pictures he took?
>>34975621
>Her looking good in that picture is more important than the fact an ex took it
True

He also used the content I made for him in his promotional videos. There's no credit needed. I don't care. A goft given isn't meant to take back. Fair is fair.
>>
>>34975457
The answer is she and him are breaking up and she is reminiscing about you. You may have even been the reason they broke up because she wants to be with you.
>>
>>34975511
You don't have to listen to the demoralization campaigns. She is just as attached to you as you are to her
>>
>>34975581
Knock it off C, you know she's leaving you for me
>>
>>34975457
If you can’t call or text her right now on anything and get a response within 30 minutes then it doesn’t mean anything.
>>
>>34978318
Only reason is because you snuck on her phone and blocked me
>>
>>34978323
She’s mine now, let it go bro. This will only get worse the more you bark up this tree. Lol.
>>
>>34978338
She's leaving you
