Hypothetically, would there exist a reliable, fast and affordable VPN out there that's ideal for torrenting and downloading high quality copyrighted material? I don't wish to get noticed from my ISP and need some good recommendations.
>>34975597It depends what you want to do with it. I use SurfShark for torrenting: it works fine, download speeds are as fast as any I've tried, and if you pay for two years upfront, the cost per month is low. If you want to use it to access Netflix material in other countries, then it's not the best choice. And its upload speeds, while certainly not bad, aren't as good as download speeds. It's possible that if you have a very fast line it might limit you more, I don't know. My broadband speed without a VPN is about 2.4Gb/s both ways. With SurfShark on, that drops to about 1.8 downstream, or 0.8 upstream. Whoever you go with, I recommend going with one that can use Wireguard as a protocol. It's a lot faster than OpenVPN.
