I can't understand Americans. The other day at a show I saw a kid being bullied in high school because he was Asian? Or being bullied for wearing a hijab. I can't understand that concept. Here in Brazil, I studied in a classroom where literally no one looked alike in any aspect; a large amount of Black, Indigenous, Portuguese, Asian, and other nationalities ran through everyone's veins. You suffered bullying for other things, of course, like being too shy or if you did something stupid, but generally, your attitude was the main target. Here, you can walk down the street wearing whatever you want—pants, shorts, a burqa, a durag, literally anything—and generally, you might be judged, but generally, no idiot will bother you. There's a lot of talk about Brazil being the country that kills the most transgender people in the world, but let me tell you something: Brazil IS the country with the largest number of transgender people in the world. In other places, that's not even a thing, because people are totally controlled by the norm. I can have whatever ideology I want, as well as religion, morals, etc. Here, there's no such thing as everyone being the same in the way they think or do things, but in the United States, there are people who simply can't do anything outside the "norm" without being ostracized by their community. Do you have any idea how many movies I've seen where a person is judged for doing things that are completely normal here in Brazil? And you still say it's the land of freedom? You don't know what freedom is.

>>34975676There are individual bullies and assholes everywhere. At least in the US most of the assholery is not officially state-sponsored
I heard most Brazilians were trannies
>>34975676Hey OP I'm sorry to hear that you are Brazilian, I hope they find a cure for it. As for why the call the USA the land of the free, is because once it had more liberty then rest of the world.
