I finally made some friends at work and it feels great, but something I wish people would have told me is how it takes some planning if you all want to do stuff together outside of work. whenever they plan night outs, it tends to come into conflict with some of my personal events that I want to do as well. Sometimes they tend to pull out at the last minute of an event which pisses me off because I was fully committed to going. I have FOMO so I always want to be there for other people, but at the same time I find it frustrating that some of the stuff we do tends to cut into my own time. How do you guys manage this?
