Hey guys, I have recently visited my pcp because i had recently had a feeling I might have autism and i need to see a neuropsychologist. I tell my psychiatrist and he gives a paper that says "find a neuropsychologist. I call medicaid and they tell me to visit visit my pcp. So, I visit her, and she tells me that she isn't able to do it, when I had called medicaid and they said to get a referral from her. Also, she told me to see my psychiatrist, because apparently he can do it too. I call him and tells me I had to see her because I was too young (33), but he said he can refer me to a neuropsychologist anyway and that I just need to find the address of a facility for it. I am very confused about the situation, I mean, I'll do what he says, but why was i denied twice? Can someone who knows more about psychiatrists and referrals help me?

Op here, I meant "find a neuropsychologist testing center" in the paper he gave me.

That's about as well as it went for me. Doctor said they would get me a referral and never did.

The pcp also asked me if i continued drinking, and i said a few sips or a gulp from my brothers drinks (he shares), on occassion, and that I used to drink one beer or tall boy with my brother maybe 2 times a week before this new drinking "habit". She then asks me if i have enough fiber, i say that now i eat 2 oatmeals, fruits, and vegetables. This apparently means I don't get enough nutrients, and that i need laxative pills and vitamin gummies/pills. Now i actually am constipated, but theres more to this: before i explained everything to her, i said that i had fingered my anus as a teenager with sharp nails (lol). I said "this bleeding started coming and going ever since i fingered myself." According to her, this bleeding was caused by large stools from being constipated. I told her again it was from the fingering (lol) and she literally ignored me and said "you need laxatives/suppositories." My brother told me she is prescribing me things I don't need because she wants money from my insurance (medicaid) and my parents told me to call medicaid so i can do something about it. I also plan to call the medical center and complain about her. Should I do these things?

Op here, I think I do actually need laxatives. But its still fucked up she ignored me when I said the cause of my bleeding was a cut in my anus.

Hello OP,
You do not have autism. Your problems are different.
Post in >>>/x/acanon/ for the psychic healing and we can get something moving.
