>Finished college
>No bf bc I'm short and flat
>Interests are hyper specific so only made one friend
>Vent to him that I'm frustrated nobody likes me
>He says he likes me but he was too nervous to say it
>It caught me by surprise bc I had thought he was gay

I'm a little autistic and I probably spend too much time on 4chan. This guy is my only ONLY friend. I have nobody else locally I can connect with on the stuff I like.

Is giving things a chance with him a good idea or is it better not to risk my entire social life by trying something uncertain?

I mean it's very likely that if you don't take this chance you will never know how happy you could be.
Human beings love comfort but some of our best experiences come from leaving our comfort zone and taking a risk.
Also pretty likely that he is a Nice Guyâ„¢
Which I get is a red flag but it's not like you got a lot of options lol.
Also as an aside you probably shouldn't date until you learn to love yourself. Things usually don't go well when one party in a relationship hates themselves
>>

I do love myself. It's why I'm not making myself miserable forcing myself to like the same stuff everyone else does or settling for spending my time with people who don't care about the same things I do. You make a good point about missing happiness, I just feel that comfort zone thing myself and I don't want to lose the only person I do feel understands me by messing this up.

>I do love myself
Okay I was just trying to point out the issues with this statement
>No bf BC I'm short and flat
You are taking that as fact when it couldn't be farther from the truth. I know plenty of guys who love short flat queens. So don't devalue yourself.

>Don't want to lose the only person I do feel understands me
What does it mean to be bf/gf?
And how does that come with more risks than just staying friends?

All the guys I met in real life either liked tall and more developed women or they didn't say anything if they liked me.
>What does it mean to be bf/gf? And how does that come with more risks than just staying friends?
I figure that dating comes with its own problems that I'm not fully aware of since I've never had a bf. That's part of what worries me, that I'll mess up on something stupid I should've known about. It's also hard to approach a friend romantically because in part it feels silly to try when something should've probably come about on its own if we had that kind of chemistry.

Give it a try
>If you are virgin, better give it to your only close friend than to a random chad you met at a social event like most women do and later regret
>He already lowkey declared, and friendship cannot work if one of the two is in love but the other dont reciprocate. Better try to promote it into a relationship and see where its going. You will have less regrets than just breaking the friendship without trying first
>>

>because in part it feels silly to try when something should've probably come about on its own if we had that kind of chemistry.

This is a naive idea pushed to girls by medias and only work with random hook ups entirely based on short term dopamine spikes. Serious relationships that last to marriage are a mix of romantical interest and deep friendship

>didn't say anything if they liked me
Yeah most dudes are pussy's
They struggle with taking a risk and showing their true intentions.

>Mess up something stupid
You probably will. A good relationship should allow you room to fail. I know I certainly have, and a good partner will laugh with you not at you.

>Silly to try something
What does chemistry look like to you?
Maybe he is trying to spark something with you. You just can't notice because of your inexperience.

What are your interests?
BTW being "short and flat" isn't really a handicap. Most men prefer smaller women. All you realistically have to do as a woman is eat human sized portions and not sit around all day, to be physically attractive.
