>Be me, 25 almost 26>Been a full time student at CC and Uni for 6.5 years, graduate with bio degree>No job experience besides fast food for about 4 months and being a bagger at local store and brief internship overseas>Feel the noose tightening around my neck and that I should just say fuck it and get started with building experience before I go back to college for Engineering (I have 0 debt and can afford tuition thanks to luck)>Until then, unsure if I should opt for something that would utilize my degree in the field I initially but no longer really want to get into (like a lab job), use my bachelors for it's generic use and find a desk job to get versatile skills, work for a rare WFH job, or just suck it up and get a job at Walmart>Latter scares me since there would be no upward direction in the careerWhat would you do in my situation?
>>35003114If youre not getting bites for your degree id first look at others jobs in demand to apply for. Go to dept of labor or whatever in your country and look. For us its Healthcare. If nothing turns up in a month yeah get a temp job to give some finances while you apply elsewhere. Someone hiring might be concerned about your employment history and at least working a job as opposed to unemployment periods would think more of your reliability. You can still apply elsewhere while at Walmart or another gig but id first look somewhere else in demand

You can edit the resume after its made. The main thing companies will want to know with little experience is if you have the degree and if you're reliable and not a drug user.
