Will there be anything left to do in the field of computer science that won't be enshittified by AI? I'm losing hope in studying this subject, but I don't want to write it off entirely just yet.I liked the idea of being a skilled low level/graphics programmer one day, but it feels like any and all software engineering jobs will be AI-ified to the max. If not right now, then definitely by the time I finish my degree. Many people like this new direction software dev is heading in, but to me it definitely cheapens the whole profession and makes it unfulfilling. I'm not excited to learn anymore knowing that I'll most likely have to be a proompter to survive in the market.Of course software development is only one part of CS, but unfortunately I'm not too interested in studying computer science just for the sake of science. Is there no other way but to switch degrees and leave programming as a hobby?
>>35006183>learn HOW to code>learn HOW to use AI>do what you want with ease>broken? just fix is manually>learn how to "make" ai (I know it's more complex )
>>35006183If you try to beat an AI one on one AI will beat you.If you use AI to beat and AI, you can win.

>>35006183Even before AI, it has been obvious for at least 20 years that there were more CS graduates being produced every year than there were jobs.
