My parents said they're going to hire someone to help me find a job, but I really don't want to. I graduated from college 4 months ago, though I neeted a bit before starting university. The way I see it, outside of bare necessity, getting a job is worth it if you genuinely like the work; want money for a family; want your own place; or want to buy things. Personally, there's no job I like the sound of (I'm so socially retarded and uneasy around other people that I don't think I'd even enjoy something I did find interesting intellectually); I don't want a family; I'm okay with living at home; and I don't spend money on anything besides the occasional book. I like being a neet, but it looks like my parents won't allow me to remain in this state forever. Can any of you provide me with some motivation for losing 8-10 hours of every one of my days for goals I don't care about at all? I don't think there's anything to look forward to in this next stage of life.
