I wanna become good at guitar and I mean really good, maybe virtuoso, but I am worried I may never get there, im 17 and have played for 2, almost 3 years now, I know I shouldn’t compare but looking up to someone like Jimi Hendrix or Stevie Ray Vaughn

You are too old to be a child prodigy so either get really fucking good at reading fast so you can go to Berklee or i'm sorry kid it's not happening.

It’s not me wanting to be a child prodigy, i already understand music theory to a great degree being able to form scales off the top of my head It’s me just wanting to become extremely skilled at guitar which is never too late if it’s centered practice
