tell me a really long story about how sad your life is. I will read it out loud for entertainment.
>>35018511Fuck off
>>35018511no. i had a very nice day today. i went to a potluck with my friends. everyone thoroughly enjoyed my chili and cornbread.
>>35018511Went into foster care when I was 8. Watched my dad kill my mom on new year's eve after a drunken fight got out of hand. I got hit too and I tried to stop my dad from hitting my mom but he knocked her down and started hitting her with something hard like an object but I can't remember what it was. I only remember she was laying next to me and I saw this pink red mucus fall out of her ears which turned out was pieces of brains. Anyway I played dead and pretended not to move while my drunk dad smashed stuff and left where he later was found with self inflicted gunshot on his body and the state put me through the system. I don't particularly feel sad about any of it though
>>35018511Last time I remember hugging my dad was when we buried him
>>35018579well that's normalmost people aren't digging their dad up to hug him
>>35018572I want to hug you Anon
>>35018572Sounds like a larpWhen you're 8, parents fighting feels like this
>>35018598No man, like last time ever I dont even remember hugging him when I was littleAnd its all my fault it only happened after he diedI could have hugged him during those 3 years since we found out about his cancer
>>35018609It's whatever >>35018623You're right I imagined it all, my foster caretakers were figments of my imagination and my mother's urn isn't an urn it's just a vase.
>>35018630Don't beat yourself up. Fatherly love is different stereotypically, they never tell you they love you or are proud of you too much, they don't speak it they show it silently in things like working to make sure you stay fed, getting up in the morning to do what needs done to make sure you grow and have a semblance of normalcy. You probably didn't want to hug him because that would mean getting emotionally close knowing there would be a goodbye which would make the pain feel harder. Your dad probably felt the same way which is why he was scared to hug you as much too. But don't sit there and think you didn't love him or he didn't love you as a father myself I can swear to you the proudest day of my life was watching my kid open their eyes for the first time the minute they got pulled out my wife covered in blood. There was nothing my kid could do or not do to make me any prouder of them, just watching them open their fucking eyelids made me feel like I had the whole world in my arms holding them. And that feeling is unspoken but it's their and it's every good father's instinct and the reason why they do what they must to make sure you eat, have clothes, go to school and live. Your dad loved you bud
>>35018648Thank you for the kind words anon, you seem like a great fatherAnd yes, I know my father loved me very much, no doubts about thatMy regrets are just how I let my fear of vulnerability keep me away from my dying father, even when his sickness got the best of him, even when I saw him struggling to walkI could have done so much more, I could have helped him and tell him I love him On the he died, I actually had this thought of going in his room to check on him but I hesitatedHe actually felt very sick that night, vomited a lot and in the morning he was goneAgain, I could have done so much more, could have left my retarded ego aside
>>35018511>tell me a really long story about how sad your life isYou clearly listed your intention, sir this is 4chan not a IHOP. I will give you a short story about how good my life is.>Live in a woods, everyone's tight knit and we have no laws about farm animals or zoning BS.>The land is smack dab in national forest, so town will never get bigger.>1 store, 1 bar, 1 gas station. All rolled into one>I raise chickens and get eggs. I give them away in baskets and people love my free gifts.>None of them ever spoil.>I'm a leader in my rural community and am doing multiple presentations to help people moving from slums like where you live.>Join in search parties (because I can read a map and compass) to find lost urbanites who forgot to being water and food.>Always know who to vote for when elections come, have known the last 4 mayors personally.>Feels good man.
>>35018724I can't speak for your late father but going off of my pride and my natural dad ego, I'll tell you something I'd never want my child to see me in that state. I would want them to remember me as I wanted to be remembered, healthy, providing, and stable. A father wants to help their children in times of crisis. We almost never want to be in a position where our own children have to caretake us. Not because of petty machismo but simply because we want our kids to feel like they have a rock in us, a strong support that ain't gonna break on them. He most likely revisited fond memories of you in his last days, in and out of his wakefulness he'd most likely held his entire life and yours in his head and turned it over in thoughts and treasured it. What I am trying to say is, the way it had ended does not define or erase the lifetime that came before. What counts is before the cancer, he had a life, a full one. And you're part of that and the reason he had a life to look back on in his final hours. The fact you continue to breathe brings honor to his memory. Remember, you are half of him, genetically, mentally, I'd even say spiritually. He lives on through you. So live well, be good to yourself and you are good to him in that way.
my life is very sad

>>35018511I have a net worth of $1.6m, I am 45. I refuse to work anymore even though I should earn a bit more to be comfortable. Today I woke up, had sex with my wife, washed her in the shower after and prepared her breakfast. After coffee I jerked off twice and played guitar. After lunch I lifted weights and enjoyed a homemade protein shake. For dinner l prepared a homemade pizza with deep fried wings in Buffalo sauce. After dinner I rubbed my wife's calves and feet and watched some TV. DEATH CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH
