For the record I don't think ADD is a real "mental disorder". The brain is probably as intended so there's nothing to fix. It's an evolutionary mismatch. I've tried to take different medications before but they all made my heart pounce super fast and hard, gave me insane anxiety and made me unable to sleep. I also doubt they actually worked because the difference was minimal which makes me think it was just placebo.

Drugging the brain is probably a suboptimal "solution" anyways because the brain is far more complex than just "oh the brain has trouble with some type of chemicals" or whatever. Sure you can give someone drugs that they are calmer but there's obviously going to be huge side-effects. I'm not so sure it's healthy to constantly experience with different drugs every couple of months.
I do show all of the symptoms that someone with ADD would show like fidgeting, having trouble completing tasks, feeling like there's 60 tabs open in your brain, etc.

I really want to read more and stop wasting my days away. I actually want to do something with my life but I feel like every day is just the exact same. How do I deal with this?

>If you took multiple stimulants and it made you feel like that then you don't have ADD you are just lazy.
"If you take drugs known to give side effects and get side effects you are lazy"

You are a retarded schizophrenic
>>
I started taking stimulants for ADHD and there have been 0 side effects. It actually improved my sleep. If you're having bad side effects, you change your medicine or lower the dose.
No, there's no way to treat it other than medication. None of that discipline or willpower or persistence shit will ever work.

What medication do you take
>>
Stimulants will increase your heart rate regardless, your heart is a muscle and controlled by the more automatic parts of your brain.

If a stimulant calms you down, you do have it. They just aren't a magic fix, they are a little boost to help you achieve what is closer to an NT's baseline function

Do I have to repeat myself? These side effects are literally known when taking these drugs. It does not mean someone does not have ADD you fucking retarded monkey ape
>>
>>35020427
NTA, but he's right. Stimulants affect ADHD brains differently from normal brains. You have a normal brain.

Yeah, and? I was diagnosed with ADD back when it was called that way lol
>>
Stimulants like caffeine sometimes calm me and make me sleepy but not a single adhd med has helped me in any meaningful way after the first few days.
