What does productivity even mean at this point? Nothing I create and work on matters to anyone these days. I had a ton of projects that I worked hard on and they ended up being obsolete and a waste of time

The things I have done which have actually mattered to other people have been the most “inspired” things I’ve done. Inspiration is mostly internal for me, though. The best appreciation and acknowledgment I ever get is when I was doing something purely for the love of the game and somebody notices it in the course of normal events. Do something cool because you fucking love it. That passion is undeniable and always draws other people in.
