I've been attending a church group my dad set me up with just so I can say I socialize, but I'm not enjoying it at all. All it does is remind me of how much I really don't care to get to know people and how much I love having my time all to myself. I want to stop showing up but people keep telling me I need to socialize to be happy. What should I do?

I tried getting to know the people who go to church. They are awful. If those churches were woke churches with rainbows and gay female pastors it'd be understandable. Those are all normal churches. The people going there need church to be able to socialize at all.
