I have a boyfriend, I love him very much but he's quite insecure and has been working on it. He's usually very closed off about his insecurities; he's not the type to joke about them and let others laugh at those things to help him cope (that's my way of coping). Normally, when he's insecure about something, he talks to me; talking about it helps a little. But recently he said something was bothering him. He's a very serious guy, and being his girlfriend, I see him smile quite often, but during sex he always has a serious, focused face, and I find that very hot. But I have a quick laugh, and I'm the type who doesn't stop smiling, even during sex. Sometimes when he changes my position, I let out a light laugh. He said that bothered him because it seemed like I thought he was funny or that I was distracted by something else. I told him it was because I was happy, but he doesn't believe me. He told me that nobody laughs during sex, but I don't know if that's true. Anyway, I still don't know how to handle this situation, I'm just being myself. Do you think I should take sex more "seriously"? Doesn't make any sense to me.
Maybe you should add some moaning in between like "yes! Yes baby!" Give him some excitement yknow
>>35025129Normally neither of us says anything during sex, maybe that's making the atmosphere awkward? I'll consider that, but he himself never says anything, which sometimes makes me a little embarrassed to say anything. Sometimes I call his name it that counts.
>>35025135>I'll consider that, but he himself never says anything, which sometimes makes me a little embarrassed to say anything.Idk about your bf but I like it when my girl moans and screams during sex because it gives me confirmation that I'm doing a good job and that it feels good
>>35025148It's strange, it's normal for me to moan and all that, it always seemed normal to me, I don't have experiences with other guys so I wouldn't know. But it's strange because there was one time when he was quite rough and at some point I started crying. It wasn't a bad experience or anything, but it seems to have been the day he seemed most excited and satisfied. Maybe he likes that kind of reaction more? If that's the case, I don't really know what to do, that's not something I can act.
>>35025121Sex IS funny. And it's fun. It shouldn't be hard serious work
>>35025135It’s harder for us to give an audible performance than it is for you, for starters moaning doesn’t come naturally to us and we are focused on the hard physical work of sex. Anyway he seems insecure.
Yeah it's normal to laugh when sthn awkward or clumsy happens which is p often when you're fiddling w positions. If you are laughing it's good to share what ur laughing abt
I guess it’s just a natural response? I’m not laughing at anything in particular, it’s more of a feeling of excitement and happiness that makes me smile. I get really excited in moments like these.
>>35025121I've had basically this exact conversation with a guy. I laugh to relieve tension it doesn't mean something is funny or that I'm laughing at him. >nobody laughs during sexUntrue Quite insecure is an accurate assement.
Mine quotes Nietzsche in bed.
if my gf giggled during sex I would think thats really cute and attractiveyour bf is just weird and is misinterpreting it
