We broke up weeks ago and I still can't stop thinking about her all the time. I literally can't focus or concentrate on anything else and feel completely empty inside like there's now a massive void in my life. All the time we spent together, the memories, the places we went all for nothing.I feel completely demoralised and devoid of any motivation to do anything
>>35026087I feel you, OP, I do. I wish I had a magic wand or a pill for you to take, but it isn't that easy. These things are much more complex than that. The plus side is that you have a whole lot more time and emotional energy, i.e. love, to give yourself now. You can spend a little time honestly appraising the relationship, recognizing where you went wrong, and how you want to conduct yourself moving forward. Your life isn't over, it just looks much differently now.
>>35026198I've already spent so much time thinking about everything and I still do, it's exhausting. I think of what I did wrong and how I could have been different but I just end up overanalyzing every interaction I had with her and overthinking. I found out she was messaging other people which was why I decided to end things. I know it's for the best but I just wonder why I was never good enough in the first place
>>35026087you need to hate her.fabricate bullshit in your head. don't tell anyone it. remember why you broke it off. don't forget it
>>35026272You're right, I SHOULD hate her but I don't - I can't
Just wait till you are married and find out she is still messaging her ex regularly
With a new and improved bitch
>>35026087Sleep deprivate yourself, keep yourself busy, day by day week by week month by month youll accept she is gone.T. 8 months out of a relationship
>>35026087Cry it outBe angryWrite letters and then burn themStop letting things be appropriated by what you associate with the time you spent together or things you liked in common. You will be okay.
>>35026087Do you suspect she never loved you and it was all a lie and you wasted your time, or that she was really something and you lost your big opportunity?
>>35028317I really don't know, if it was all a lie I don't know what she got out of it. The thing I'm hung up about the most is if it COULD have worked out if I had done something different. I always think about "what if"
>>35028398What makes you not dismiss the "it was all a lie" outright? Were there some hints that might suggest it?
>>35028427In a weird way it would be less painful to know that it was all a lie, and that there was nothing I could do
>>35028486Ultimately it wasn't true love. You broke up for a reason I'm assuming one that wasn't noble or anything
>>35028522It wasn't, but it really felt like it at times and I miss those times.
>>35028582Yeah that's understandable, but by moping around and shit your are compounding the losses to yourself needlessly. You need to move on and search for those greener pastas
>>35026087all you need is give it timetime will heal that woundthe memories of her face, voice and presence will fade and become replaced by new memories of new people you will meet in the future
>>35028641I wish I could move on so easily but I feel like it's changed me as a person for the worst, like I don't know who I am anymore or what I'm going to do.
>>35028703You wanna write out some possible plans for yourself on paper like>I'm going to hit the gym and begin my villain arc Etc
>>35028712I've been meaning to start going gym but I don't know what I want to even begin contemplating a plan for the future, besides I don't think I'll have the motivation to stick to any plan. I think I might be genuinely depressed but I don't want to rely on antidepressants and ideally don't want to go to therapy
>>35028743Even if you only manage some of a plan it's still an improvement, right? What you definitely don't wanna do is spend two or three years lingering on her and then realize you just lost all this additional time coz of a woman who long since moved on, probably has already moved on rn. go get out there soon
