I feel like i have goals and i want to achieve them, I know what I would have to do for them yet even on the most simplest tasks i procrasinate, then I feel shit about myself and just shut myself off even more and play some game or watch porn. (And that makes me feel even more shit.) Even if lock my phone away I just start reading random books for 4 hours straight. I think my neural pathways for lollygagging are just so ingrained that i dont think I can do anything about them (This thought further feeding the loop). Any anons here that had a simillar recursive hell created by themselves? What helped you get out of it/change it a little?

I'm in the same boat as you. Nothing outside of being outside more and joining a club has helped. I wish I could help more but I'm just as screwed.

Sounds like ADHD and/or autism. Executive dysfunction is a core symptom of the former and common with the latter.

Pretty common in this day and age. The goals you have are probably poorly formulated so distractions are more enticing than the reward of achieving your goals (or consequences of not achieving them). Make better goals.

Basically you have to force yourself to do the task and even when you feel the overwhelming urge to leave you have to stay. Over time the avoidance behavior will get easier to control. Another thing that helped me was getting a timer app on my phone and doing productive shit for 15-20 minutes a pop then building up from there
