I'm 21 and just graduated and decided to cold approach with some friends at bars (I live in a big city) for the first time, and yeah I struck out but I ripped off the bandaid in that regard. I asked an older lady to take a picture of my friends and I and dropped a "now that you have my phone, why don't you give me your number?" Pretty cringe, and it felt awkward doing it, but she seemed genuinely flattered and said she was a mom and just left. The second try was with some women my age, maybe a few years older, who I hit up with a friend. That was more awkward and they didn't reciprocate, but it's whatever. It's weird at first if you haven't done it, but it's a nice way of building confidence/pretty fun even if you only get no's. I'm also not looking for anything serious and maybe you are, but again I think it's good practice if you want to flirt with women in person. Someone on here once told me that if you interact with enough women you won't need an app to form any sort of connection, and that seemed hopeful. So try that
