Boyfriend has decided to join the military after telling me he wasn't going to. I'm 2 years into 6 years of school it'll take to get a degree for a job that will likely require me to stay in the same place for life. He's wanted to get married basically since we started dating, I told him wait until I graduate. But now I feel like it's impossible for us to both have the careers we want and live in the same place together. I can't move every 3-4 years. Do I have to end things with him?
>join the military after telling me he wasn't going to>a job that will likely require me to stay in the same place for lifeYou two aren't on the same track at all
>enlisting>in 2026the goyim truly are cattle
>enlisting in 2026he told me a week before this that he didn't want to join because he would "basically just be joining the IDF" so this is very out of the blue
>>35038882I don’t know how to tell you this, but check his early life history
>>35038858Tell him that being in the army is nowhere near as cool as he thinks it is and really it's just all based on ridiculous power imbalance, and is at any given moment either boring or stressful. When you are a private, corporal may as well be your slave master. This was my experience in the Australian army at least. He is getting himself into a ridiculous insular cult, and it will change his personality. I presume you're Americans so why doesn't he just buy a gun and do some target shooting when he feels like it? That's the only cool part of the army anyway. There is a chance as well that he's specifically joining because he hopes he might get to kill someone and if that's the case you might not be able to convince him otherwise no matter how hard you reason with him. That's how it was for me. Not that I ever got to do anything that interesting. All in all it's a dumb decision, see if you can stop him but if he insists on leaving don't follow.
>>35038858>Do I have to end things with him?Yes.
>>35038970????He's not jewish if that's what you mean
>>35038882Did you ask why he decided? If he doesn't believe in the ideology he might just be signing on for the benefits, which would be easier to talk him out of.
>>35040201It's for the benefits, but unironically I think this might be the best career choice for him bc he is very much a taking orders sort of guy. I feel like if I talked him out of it he would be losing a good opportunity I think I just need to end things because I don't want to live on military bases and stunt my own career for this, it would be a waste of my own potential
Update I told him my concerns and he basically said I should do my job on the military base I told him no because I want to start my own practice not work for the goyvernmentOptions I foresee happening: If I communicate, tell him we are breaking up if he joins military:-he either joins anyways and we break up-he decides not to join even though it would be the best option for his futureDon't communicate, I give up on my own dreams and accept shitty military wife life / being a SAHM:-maybe enjoy it -kill myself Or evil manipulative option of tricking him into joining to secure his own future and then breaking up with him while he's at boot camp
>>35040898Wait for him to join, then break up. Both of you are going to cheat within a year if he joins.
>>35038858The military has the highest divorce rates for a reason. If you believe your relationship will survive that nightmare go for it.
>>35038858You need to break up with this guy.>>35040620He sounds very impulsive and much dumber than you.
>>35038858>Do I have to end things with him?No. But it's not going to be much of a relationship if you live apart for that amount of time. He expected you to be an army wife, moving with him where ever he goes. Do you want to be an army wife?
Manipulative option is your best course of action. He's not listening to you and thinks everything will work out the way he wants it. He's forced you into giving him an ultimatum and will resent you if he quits because you're unwilling to go along with his plan, and you'll probably end up broken up anyway. And you'll resent him if you go along with it and hate it.
>>35038858Divorce rape him when he's in the military
>>35038858He's probably dumb if he's zogbotting during a zog war
>>35038858Is he mentally ill?
Break up.I speak from personal experience, I wanted to join the Air Force but stayed in a relationship that wasnt good for me 3 years longer than I should have. Lost the weight and enlisted the year after.Got to live in Japan for 6 years, moved to Korea for another 3, somehow ended up back in Japan right after for another 4 years. My only regret was not dropping that relationship sooner, I’d be closer to a pension by now.
>>35040898Tell him to become a cop instead
>>35040898I don't get either of you. Neither of you seem ready to settle down. Neither of you want to start a family yet. You don't seem interested in being a mother. I don't get why he thinks you can just carry on with your career on the army base, whatever career that is. He makes decisions for you that aren't his to make. I would say do nothing and just watch the relationship fall apart. Neither of you seem capable of listening to each other anyway.
He doesn't actually want to be with you, and everyone in the military knows why relationships you started before enlisting basically never work out. He's doing what he actually wants to because he wants to develop himself as a man and using it as a way to end your relationship.
>>35044946this is gold advice.
>>35045132I do want to be a mother, but ideally I want it to do the most time and labor intensive part (Pregnancy and ages 0-4) at the most optimal time (right after college is over) so I don't fuck up my career by being a mother or spend too long being unemployedAnd for everyone else who said break up I decided to just tell him I am considering that, and he said he would plan to only do actual military for 8-10 years and then transfer to a civilian job afterwards. For 4 of the military years, I would be in college, and the other 4-6 I could birth and raise 2-3 children as long as we don't discover weird fertility issues.
>>35044485No probably about it. There's no point in saying this to a brainwashed cog's face either but he's a sorry excuse for a patriot as well as a stupid man
>>35038858no you don't have to end it, but that will give you both real closure.
>>35049683>reee people who served are bad patriots>I, who hates my countrymen, society, traditions, history, etc am the REAL patriot, because I love the globalist banking order and the things they tell me are good, like mass immigrationYou are a brain-raped cuckold
>>35049949Like hell I am. Anyone born before 2000 should know better than to carry water for Israel by serving in the US military.
>>35049652Are both of you just completely deaf and ignorant of what the other is saying and doing?
>>35050180I thought this was solid communication?
Literally following the meme. Why do women feel the need to leave a relationship with any minor inconvenience?
